The Paxton Apartments

Update, end of lease review: I thought things would go smoothly in my new transition of moving out from this property, but I was charged a full month rent on a month to month basis after I clearly turned in my notice of leaving back in April 2026. My lease ends on 6/18/26 and yet I had a letter of notice to vacate if I didn’t pay the June rent of $2230 which is a false report and false information. I called their office 6/3/26 asking them to Correct the rent since my lease ends in the middle of the month so I could go ahead and pay it, but it wasn’t done and now they are trying to file against me for not paying rent. They clearly have no proper communication within the workers there and idk if they lost my signed notice of leaving, but I also kept getting frequent reminders to renew my lease after the fact that I gave them my letter to leave. Keep a close eye on your the things they are charging you for and always keep copies of everything. I am currently waiting to see if they will fix this and remove this notice of vacate from the property history and my rental history because this seems like a scam. I recently signed my lease about 2 weeks ago and it’s the worst decision I have made. I haven’t spent not even one night there since signing my lease. The unit was given to me INFESTED. When I walked into my apartment maintenance was still working in the unit and had roach spray with him trying to kill the visible ones before I walked in. They know the units are infested and choose to rent them out anyways without bombing it or doing anything about it first. Roaches crawling all over the walls, floors, falling from the ceiling. This is the worst place I have ever rented at. The inside layout is pretty but not worth the price and extra fees especially when you sharing it with ROACHES. The office seems nice and friendly but to rent out a unit to someone knowing it is not livable is shady and scammy. I have a 5 and 7 year old and haven’t even moved our things in just because the bugs just won’t go away. They eventually went the next day after signing my lease to bomb the apartment and removed my refrigerator and stove but it was pointless bc it has not resolved anything and I started buying things myself to try to fix the issue. If you want a peaceful and clean place to live in then this is not the place.

The Paxton has been a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff has been friendly, professional, and always willing to answer any questions I had throughout the leasing process. They made everything simple and stress-free, and their communication has been excellent. The property is well-maintained, welcoming, and has a great atmosphere. I truly appreciate the outstanding customer service and attention to detail. I would highly recommend The Paxton to anyone looking for a great place to call home.

Better off moving somewhere else New chargers ??? Really ya’ll are getting over on people and not to be in a renovated unit paying that is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS WILL NOT RENEW MY LEASE 👎🏾👎🏾 DONT MOVE HERE , NOT WORTH IT

I currently live here. Things started out well at first until things started to get a little shaky recently. Most of the time when you try to call they hardly ever pick up the phone. Whoever the young lady is that’s actually the manager is amazing but some of the other staff from when I moved back in August of 2025 until about a month ago are rude and disrespectful. It’s like we’re bothering them when we ask questions and need help… May 24th, 2026, part of a tree landed on my car and sadly totaled it. I sought some type of help from the Paxton apartments but they said they couldn’t do anything because of “natural disaster”. So I’m now out of a car. Today May 30th about at 3:42pm I’m trying to get dressed and randomly the ceiling of my apartment caves in with a whole bunch of debris and dust. I’ve really tried to enjoy my stay here but it’s always been something. They may have renovated some cabinets, counters, but I don’t think you get your moneys worth here. And the pool is like never open, but part of our rent goes towards water and the pool. Management has helped me in some other prior cases, but other staff members don’t seem to really care about their residents. For those who are trying to move here, please take your money and invest in apartment complexes that are going to invest back in you, treat you fairly, be kind, and truly appreciate you.

I have a question if you could take some time out of your day and reply I believe my friend just move into these apartments and she told me we just rent and lights when I went on to the website it said otherwise
