I waited well into my lease to leave this review because I was genuinely hoping things would get better. Unfortunately, they never did. There have been three different management changes during my time here. When we first signed our lease, we were promised a $1,800 credit to use at the Thompson Hotel. When new management took over, they told us that since they were not here when the promise was made, they were not honoring it. They also said that if we could not find it documented anywhere, then too bad. We have had constant issues with the gate. It is almost always broken and left open, and random people are constantly parking in the garage. The elevators break down all the time, which can result in a 20 minute wait just to get up or down. We have lived here for nine months. We have ordered from the hotel many times without issue. Recently, we tried to order dinner and were told our unit was listed as vacant, but they still confirmed our order. An hour passed, so we called back, and they told us they never sent anything because our unit was marked as vacant. Again, we have lived here for nine months. At this point, I am seriously considering involving a lawyer just to get out of this lease. Avoid this place at all costs. DO NOT rent here. Also, when touring, they sell you a false dream. I ignored the bad reviews because there were some good ones that seemed to outweigh them. Those good reviews are fake. Please believe the bad reviews and run from this place.

Update - have been without a FOB for my own house for FIVE DAYS and no one is ever here from the leasing office. Leasing emailed me and told me they have it ready today and didn’t leave it for me… now they’re closed for Christmas Eve and Christmas! So it will have been a week without access to my own home!!!! Notice all of the positive reviews are from people who have only toured the building and not actual residents. How much are yall paying people or discounting new leases for a review?! I have lived here for 3 years and am at my wits end with the package situation. Every single time I get a package I have to prove that it was delivered. They can’t find it/ won’t look and act like I did something wrong for asking. Other residents regularly get my packages and most of the time are kind enough to find me and hand them over. The building has now lost expensive Christmas gifts for my family - and will not respond! There is never anyone at the concierge desk and management hides in the back office. No one answers emails, the phone or follows up. The concierge uses Gmail instead of an actual property management platform! When you mishandle to this degree, everything else becomes a pile-on. Several residents, including myself, have had to get the police and attorneys involved due to lack of security and mismanagement of complaints regarding personal safety. There is a mass exodus of long term residents due to the building refusing to resolve issues we have given them years to fix. Management companies have changed but no one can seem to get it right. The things we signed up for when we moved in are non existent. This is an expensive building full of professionals - it takes a lot for us to put our business out there and leave a negative review. Most of us try to handle issues with the management team before putting them on blast. Just know by the time it gets to this point we are all at our boiling point! The downtown views from the building are amazing but management is terrible.

One Star, Severe mismanagement, safety issues, and false promises This building is grossly mismanaged and should not be marketed as a luxury residence. The existing one star reviews are accurate. There is no air conditioning in the units, and maintenance requests are routinely ignored or never completed. At move in, management promised multiple amenities, including a house car, breakfast service, and 24-hour access to amenity spaces. These amenities were removed shortly after residents moved in. Management’s response was, “we no longer have the funds.” The package system is completely unreliable. Residents should expect frequent lost or missing packages and mail, with little to no accountability from management. Parking is unsafe. Vehicles are regularly damaged due to leaking ceilings in the garage, and this issue has been ongoing. The pool is effectively unavailable to residents. Outside tickets are sold to the public, resulting in no seating for tenants, while residents are prohibited from bringing their own food or beverages. Fire alarms go off constantly, including late at night, creating ongoing disruption and safety concerns. Despite charging me over $5,000 per month, the living conditions resemble a poorly run public housing facility, not a luxury building. There is also a serious safety issue, management allows short term rentals (Airbnb). This results in unknown individuals constantly coming and going, parties inside units, and zero sense of residential security. There is even a public review on this page identifying the building as an Airbnb, to which management responded positively and thanked the reviewer, confirming that this practice is allowed, even though they tell ton at move in it is not. Basic maintenance is neglected. The dog park fence was left collapsing for months. Management’s solution was to remove the fence entirely, leaving rusted metal, open holes, and caution tape instead of a safe, functional space. Pet feces and urine constantly in public resident spaces, likely from the short term rentals. The building looks impressive during the tour, but the reality is starkly different. This property is all marketing and no substance, with broken promises, neglected infrastructure, and serious safety and quality-of-life concerns. Prospective renters should think very carefully before signing a lease here.

I've had a wonderful experience at The National Residences in Dallas, and I especially want to highlight Vanessa for her outstanding service. From day one, she’s been incredibly helpful, professional, and genuinely kind. Vanessa always goes above and beyond with a smile. The property itself is stunning—beautifully maintained, secure, and in a fantastic location. But it’s the people, like Vanessa, who truly make it feel like home. Thank you for making my experience so smooth and enjoyable!

I’ve really loved living here! The staff are always so kind and helpful, and the amenities make life so convenient. It genuinely feels like home. Vanessa is always there to ensure the resident experience is top-tier and operates at an exceptionally high level of professionalism, while also being a joy to work with. I've lived here for two years and I just resigned!
