The Fairmount at Oak Lawn Apartments

The high rating you are seeing on this apartment complex is left over from the previous management company under Courtland. This complex was bought by RMP Living a couple of months ago. To get an accurate picture of what management now looks like for this complex check out the RPM Living reviews instead, they have a 2.3 star rating. Furthermore, when you look at the most recent “5 Star Reviews” you will see a lot of 5 star reviews left by people that “toured” this complex and how “Mike from maintenance” really went above and beyond for them during their tour…ask yourself when the last time someone from maintenance was apart of your apartment tour, let alone when the last time you left a 5 star review on an apartment complex based solely on a tour. This complex went from having a review or 2 a month for years to having several reviews a month with the staff being praised by name every single review. RPM Living has bought up a lot of property in Oak Lawn recently so save yourself some headache and do your research on who the management company is before moving to an apartment in this neighborhood.

I moved in a year ago when this was a Cortland property and was concerned when the management changed to RPM- however, the new leasing team (Anthony and Wes) have been wonderful and have been so helpful while navigating this transition. Anytime I go into the office they are there to help and provide a solution quickly, which I really appreciate. Anthony is especially super attentive and helpful anytime I have a question or concern. I also really enjoy living at this location. Highly recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of touring this building with a friend, and I must say, I was truly impressed by the beauty of the complex. Each person I interacted with was wonderful, making the visit even more enjoyable. I want to especially acknowledge a member of the maintenance team, whom I believe is named Michael. He provided an outstanding experience and played a significant role in convincing my friend to choose this building as her new home. While the leasing team was fantastic, it's clear that having such exceptional maintenance staff speaks volumes about the quality of the entire team. Thank you for creating such a welcoming environment.

I haven’t even officially moved in yet, but big shout out to Mike who went above and beyond to make sure I’d be taken care of. His quick responses and willingness to help with every little question or concern gave me so much confidence in moving forward with my decision to lease here. It’s rare to meet someone who takes that much pride in what they do — he's a real stand out. He didn’t have to be as attentive and proactive as he was, but he went the extra mile anyway, which says a lot about the kind of service I could come to expect living here. If the rest of the team is anything like Mike, I know I’ll be in great hands once I move in!

I recently moved into The Fairmount at Oak Lawn and have been really impressed so far. The location is super convenient and easy to get around, plus there are great spots nearby to walk my dog. I got an apartment with a small yard, which has been perfect for having a little outdoor space of my own. Wesley in the office made the whole move-in process smooth and was great about communicating every step of the way. The apartment was clean, ready, and exactly what I expected when I arrived. The team has been friendly and responsive since day one, and it already feels like home here.
