Let me start by saying the maintenance guys are all super cool. On the the other hand the office staff are full of incompetent fools. At the end of the lease we initially thought we were gonna extend, and then we didn’t. We were told we would be charged a penalty one month rent for breaking the extension, cool that’s our fault we accept that. BUT after we left we get a bill for almost twice the amount of one months rent. We look at the break down and they charged us for ALL KINDS OF STUFF. Including damages we reported on the move in inspection they told us we’re gonna be replaced (didn’t get replaced the whole 15 months we were there). Before moving out they ask to have an office staff member come by and do an inspection, she took her pictures and told us everything was cool, then the bill hits and we’re getting charged for wall and carpet damages (we filled every hole even holes that were on the move in inspection and we used a rug cleaner, there was rug damage on our move in inspection.) The worst part really is the office staff have a horrible habit of telling you one thing and then doing another. Now over a month later, after admitting we were over charged getting someone on the phone is almost impossible, sometimes I have to call over 20 times just to talk to someone, and apparently they’ve been without leadership for months.

Trying to rent here was a nightmare. I was misinformed by the staff about the required credentials . I had the correct credentials but 3rd party denied..the ladies were so put out and unhelpful with the rudest attitude. Especially Serena....The took my admin. Fee of 175.00....this place has really gone down. I went straight across the street and was approved in 5minutes. I highly recommend. The Rise complex...the management was amazing.... THE atera is a joke. And BTW I was approved to rent here after I typed this review but I had already found The Rise...

I have felt very comfortable living here. The leasing team has always been friendly, attentive and professional, which made the moving process easy and uncomplicated. The property is very well maintained: everything is kept clean, tidy and it is nice to get home. You can see that there is a constant effort to keep the place in good condition. It is a quiet, safe and comfortable environment, ideal for those looking for a pleasant space to live. I sincerely recommend it.

I just moved to Atera and so far so good! Enjoying the quiet neighborhood & safe community. The application was quick & move in was a breeze. Enjoying a 3rd floor apartment with high ceilings, unfortunately stairs only. The pool, mail, and package service has been great so far. The gym is a bit lacking with the amount of residents that use it. The rent listed isn't what you'll pay, they have quite a few added on fee's. That being said, it's a good place for the price. No experience with maintenance so far. 5 stars ➡️ 4 stars UPDATE: on my 2nd year of living here and I have a few updates. - Parking your car after 7pm can be an issue, no open parking spaces unless you pay for a covered spot. - They DO tow here so make sure to register your friends cars when they visit. - They launched an "updated" gym but all they did was repaint and no new equipment. Would love to see treadmills that track your progress, pelaton, or stairstepper. - CAR BREAK-INS.. I have had my car broken into here, in a gated community. They hired an overnight patrol officer but somehow was not caught. Was told there are NO cameras around the complex and only police could help. Was disappointed in the whole experience dealing with this.

I have been a resident here for nearly two years, and unfortunately, I have noticed a significant decline in the upkeep and care for the property during this time. I am writing this to bring attention to several issues that have been persisting for some time, which are impacting the quality of living for residents. Gym Facilities: The water fountain in the gym has been out of service for an extended period. Additionally, there are no wet towels provided, and there is no sanitizer available to clean the equipment after use. This poses a hygiene risk and reduces the overall usability of the facility. Water Leak in Restroom: One of the restrooms has a water leak that has not been addressed. It’s an ongoing issue that requires immediate attention. Understaffed Maintenance: The maintenance crew is clearly stretched thin, and while they do their best, it’s evident that they are unable to keep up with the demands of the property. This affects the overall upkeep and responsiveness to resident concerns.S quesling bathtub: Our bathtub has been making a loud squealing noise, making showering quite stressful. We reported this issue when we first noticed it, but there has been no action taken to resolve it. These issues have been ongoing and have not been adequately addressed, despite multiple reports. I understand that the maintenance crew is working hard, but it seems additional support or resources are necessary to ensure the property is properly maintained.
