The service elevator to bring your furniture to an upper floor don’t work and the Hot tub doesn’t work. You better inquire before signing a lease.

Berkshire residential company, took this building over on 5/11/2026 to revamp/improve customer satisfaction. They are efficient and and very on top of request. I transferred apartments and needed maintenance for a few updates and Clifton took care of everything in a flash. Ordered new fan, new garbage disposal, and reset ac motor on a holiday weekend. Top tier customer service. Excited for the upcoming changes and upgrades.

It started as a joyful rental, we actually liked RPM management and were sad to see them go. A new management company named Berkshire took over and the FIRST thing they did was start closing common areas and amenities. We used to have a great public common room at the front of the building with lovely seating, a piano, and a theater. We were told “it’s not in your lease” when asked why it was closed and that they were still discussing whether they would open it back to us or if we could only use it while they watch us… Maintenance has told us that they will be filling in a dog park pool and possibly closing one or both dog parks. We had several friends lined up to look at units here and be neighbors it’s but we had to put that all on -hold- because we don’t know what else they will be taking away and telling us “isn’t in your lease” Pretty soon though we won’t all live here anymore… but don’t worry Berkshire… “it’ll be in our lease” when we move out. At least 10 neighbors have said they are moving… gonna be a ghost town soon. :-( It used to be a nice place to live. TLDR: CAUTION*STAY AWAY*CAUTION*

I’ve been through the transition in management here. To be honest it was a rough start but things are now so nice. The management team and all who work here have been so nice and accommodating. I highly recommend this location.

Courtney and Annette have partnered to restore Park West to the premier mid rise in Oaklawn. No doubt the task was monumental but they methodology attacked major obstacles to tackle the issues. My visitors have all commented on the improvement throughout the property. Very clean and well maintained. Courtney and her team have also worked to build the community. Multiple Events held monthly to foster community participation. Thanks for all that you and your teams have accomplished in a short amount of time .
