I’ve been meaning to write a review for Park MD for a while now. My fiancé and I have lived here for over a year, and it has been a wonderful experience. It is peaceful, safe, clean, and overall a great place to live. We have lived in several apartment complexes around the Medical District and other parts of DFW, including Bishop Arts, Addison, and Oak Lawn, and Park MD has been our favorite apartment so far. It is especially great for students, post-docs, young professionals, young parents, or anyone who values a quieter living environment, since there is minimal noise and the community feels very calm. The common areas are always well maintained and clean, and the staff has been consistently kind and helpful. The maintenance staff has also been wonderful and super attentive; whenever we have submitted a request, they have typically come within a day to take care of it. The amenities are great as well, including multiple pools and lounge areas, study pods, a snack center, a coffee maker, and plenty of shared spaces to enjoy. Another huge benefit is the location. If you work or study at UTSW, it is incredibly convenient to be able to walk over. The UTSW area is also one of the nicer and safer places to walk around in the Medical District without having to drive somewhere else. Safety has been another major plus for us. The apartment complex feels very secure, with gated access, door codes, and fob entry for the buildings. There is also plenty of parking, including visitor parking, which makes it easy when guests come over. Our unit itself has been spacious and comfortable. We live in one of the one-bedroom units with a loft space, and it has been perfect for us, our dog, and our cat. The Whirlpool appliances have also been great. Overall, we have had a really positive experience at Park MD and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, clean, safe, and convenient place to live in the Medical District.
