Northwood Heights Apartments

I moved into northwood heights in December 2022. My first year at these apartments went pretty good. I had little no concerns about the property or the management. My 2nd year living in these apartments were a little bad and the service dropped a bit here. The original managing company was RPM and that company sold it to the now new property managing company which is brazos residential. When brazos took over the property really went bad. The property manager Marisol at the time was extremely rude from the very first encounter as well as the woman Vicky. They had no clue on how to socially interact with residents and spoke to people in a condescending manner. They never fixed my issues nor cared to take the time to really listen. This was a huge problem for me. Unfortunately for me brazos residential management corporate office has been so negligent to this property I have had issues that have not been fixed and I have sent several letters by certified mail as well as emails because the issues I am having the current manager cannot fix and i am breaking my lease. The only bright spot at this property is the new manager and the new team at these apartments are actually competent and they care. Alfredo, Lorena, Juan and Jesus are hard working and they do their best. Brazos residential as a corporate office and as a first impression has been a really bad experience. But they at least got 1 thing right in hiring the 2 new office people in Alfredo and Lorena. Its a little too late for me. I don't want to pay my rent and not even have my issues heard out by corporate. If Alfredo and the new crew can last through the storm, there is no doubt in my mind that this property can be an amazing place to live for residents and maybe to work at for employees of brazos.. Today i have returned my keys to the unit and I am breaking my lease early. And till this day I have not received any updates from corporate even after sending approximately 6 certified letters through mail, several emails to their corporate email address and phone calls to corporate. It won't surprise me that even though my issues were not fixed, and I reached out several times regarding these matters if they try to come at me legally. If you are going to rent here make sure you speak with Alfredo or Lori. They will help you the best they can.

The apartment is clean and spacious. The management is helpfull and friendly. They treated me like family. My neighbors are friendly and chill. There is plenty of businesses and bus stops in walking distance. I can definitely recommend moving here.

I can’t say enough about Alfred the manager! He’s very respectful and takes the time to listen to my concerns.Ever since he arrived I have seen positive changes! I’ve had problems with roaches and mice and he has taken care of the problem. I submit a work order. Pest control comes and takes care of the problem. Period! I love it here! Very clean and pleasant. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I hope Alfred sticks around for a while. We need a manager like him who takes care of the problem!

I recently moved in with my family and this is a complete 10/10!! The people are nice, and so is the apartments themselves ✌🏻 I had Alfred and Lorie assist me throughout my needs and they delivered outstanding services. DO NOT trusts the other reviews of this place.. as someone who’s lived here for a while and got to connect to the employees, they are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Truly life changing.
