Vikki was so pleasant! She showed me all the available units and I enjoyed having a conversation with her.

First impression was being there 5 minutes early to my scheduled tour. No one was there for 40 minutes. Finally Vicki showed up and couldn’t show me anything available even though online it showed plenty of units available. I went ahead and applied for a unit still and explained my financial situation beforehand to her . She claimed it would be okay since there’s ways around it. So I applied and her attitude switched saying there’s no way she would approve me since I work at a nightclub “since tips would be inconsistent “ and I asked her does she deny everyone in the hospitality industry or who runs their own business. I even offered to get a letter from the owners/ management to verify my income, even showed her my bank statements. Her attitude after she denied my application was nastier than the trash around the property. One of the most unprofessional and scandalous experience I’ve had dealing with an apartment office manager. Lisa was great though. She knows how to properly talk to people at least and follows up. Also for anyone looking to apply, the website is highly inaccurate, the listings available and the 3D virtual interiors. Looks like they have an issue with HVAC constantly, I drove by the complex and noticed a good amount of units had to put window units. I also see why they have multiple complaints from residents regarding rodent issues, since there is trash everywhere.

Great day to visit The Maverick Apartments. The team here was exceptionally helpful, Ms. Vikki was closing up her office and stopped the whole procedure to assist me with a Tour and information even though I had no appointment. Also I visited last week and Ms.Lisa was so nice and customer friendly. I would recommend this team to anybody! Thank you Maverick Oaklawn :)

DO NOT APPLY ONLINE!!! They will charge you 100$ to apply then tell you they have nothing available for you! Seems like a scam! They referred me to there sister property instead and still charged me though they had nothing available!
