Cityscape Star Apartments

This was my first apartment that I've moved to in Dallas and it has been such a smooth process. After about 2 months, I can say the area is pretty safe, clean, and well-managed. Have not dealt with bedbugs, roaches, or other apartment issues. When I first moved in, Scott the manager was excellent in helping me resolve minor issues immediately. I also wanted to applaud Robyn for being so sweet with my family in helping with the touring and transition process.

Been living here 10 months and i would give it a 6.5/10. Majority of the time the elevator is broken, management has changed 4 times which causes problems, management put a renewal on my door saying my lease ends 3 months earlier than what i signed (luckily i kept track of messages with old management and my signed lease paperwork), I put in a maintenance request about a week ago that still has not been checked on, one of my neighbors has caused a disruption multiple times where police has been onsite about 4 times and my neighbor is still is a resident here, management tried to give me an eviction notice for $4 & the garage is always broken which is unsafe. I could honestly go on and on but paying $1700 (after receiving my 6 weeks free) would not be worth it for the amenities that barely work, no swimming pool when there’s plenty of space for it and it be a lot of unfortunate people roaming around. I will be able to edit my review after my term is up.

Cityscape star is a horrible complex to move into here are the top reasons why: 1 The management team changes often three different management teams in the last nine months Four different maintenance teams in 6months 2 Parking garage gate is often broken homeless people walk in and out of the garage 3 the grills don’t work haven’t worked in a year. 4. The elevators are often not working or out of service 5. 40% of the units here are Air bnb don’t get fooled.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!! I don’t even like leaving reviews, but please save your money & find a better place to stay! The outside looks nice, but thats a distraction from all the shotty, half done, cheap work they put into this building. I have lived here a year & management has changed 3 times, each time it gets worse. My neighbor who has lived here longer than I have stated it changed twice before I moved in. My air has gone out twice! The first time they left me in an 85 degree apartment with no sense of urgency. I had to call the City. & now a month later, it’s out again. My apartment is slanted, so I can’t really put things on the shelf because they will slide off. The building is infested with gnats everywhere you go. They “Airbnb” majority of the units so you have random people in the building on a constant basis being loud, leaving trash, & tearing the place up. The gym equipment is refurbished & majority of it doesn’t work. For the price you’re going to pay here, it’s definitely not worth it!!
