Gates are always broken allowing people to walk in a steal whatever they want. Management definitely has favorites I was told when I signed my lease I would be put on a waitlist for covered parking however several people have moved in after me and got covered parking. One resident took it upon themself to throw away things that didn’t belong to them and when reported nothing was done about it. I’m going into month 4 of living here and reported a broken window the second week I was here and nothing has been done about it. Most of the residents are very kind but you have a few that thing they manage the place and try to tell everyone else what they can and can’t do one of those residents has people coming and going all hours of the night. I’m looking forward to finishing my lease and moving somewhere that can offer more peace.

We just moved in and I cannot say enough great things... Sandy the property manager has been fantastic. We adore our apartment and the neighbors could not be any nicer. They greeted us and offered us and our movers water and were very kind. Love it here already!!

Recently moved the garbage dumpster to the main entrance of the complex, everyone visiting the complex, looking for a new place to live must walk by the garbage dumpster. The garbage dumpster was previously in the back of the complex where it belongs. New Manager Sherri is working on this, hopefully the dumpster will be moved to a more appropriate place soon.

It's the quantity v quality conundrum. The Castillian has 44 units, local owners, and was built in the 60s(?); my new place is one of 440 units, the owners are in Colorado, and the complex was built in the 90s. It's hard to make a mass produced thing as nice and as comfortable as a custom thing: think backyard barbeque v McDonald's, or small batch IPA v Miller Lite. I pay half again more for this place than the Castillian. Actually it's roughly the same per square foot, but where the Castilian was all wood, tile, and marble, the new place is laminate floors, cheap second-hand carpet, and re-surfaced laminate counters. Where the Castilian finishes all show a careful hand, this new place is all slopped-on paint and peeling chipboard. Where the Castilian is weather-sealed and shows environmental consciousness in recent remodeling, this place is drafty and dusty, open to the elements. If I could go back, I wouldn't have left the Castillian. And if circumstances allow, I'd live there again.
