Both leasing agents Victoria and Jayla were very helpful and patient! I’m an Amazon driver and the made my delivery experience at this property so easy and provided with a map with addresses to each building to help me complete my route in a very timely manner! I’ve never had such helpful agents who didn’t run out of patients with me asking too many questions!

The maintenance team here has no regard for privacy or respect for the residents! I am a nurse who works nights and on majority of my maintenance requests, I request to not be bothered until 3:30pm. However that has always been disregarded. Yesterday I received a phone call to fix my water heater. Which might I add, in the 2 years I’ve lived here I have NEVER received a phone call prior to maintenance coming. I come to find out this is supposed to be proper procedure! I was assured that the problem would not be fixed until 3:30pm by the front office; that however, that was NOT the case. I was disturbed at 10 AM and when I asked the maintenance man if he was told not to come by until 3:30 he replied “yes”. So he was fully aware of this and continued to come anyway. There was prep that needed to be done prior to removing the water heater. I was then woken up a SECOND time around 2:00pm. I went to the front office and the maintenance team manager was not present I was suggested to email him. I confronted the men working on my apartment and again asked why they were there before my suggested time (granted this is the same man from prior that day). They told me it was an emergency however that is the first time I’m hearing this. Then an upper level maintenance team member shows up and is telling me that I received and email that would be here at 10. I have no such email. Moral of this story is to show this maintenance team does not regard the residents or respect them.

I don’t leave a ton of reviews…but Carrara at Cole/Slate at Cole, I can’t say enough good things!! The community events are always so fun and the front office is staffed with kind and helpful people. The location is nice and tucked away so you get the best of both worlds of living in Knox but not dealing with busy street noise. Absolutely adore it here :)!

DO NOT LIVE HERE JUST BC YOU LIKE THE NEIGHBORHOOD!! This complex is being kept on life support with the LEAST effort until it's inevitably torn down by a developer. My roommate and I lived here for genuinely the worst year of our lives. 1. The AC's do NOT work. The first night, we noticed it was incredibly hot. After putting in a maintenance request, they came 4 separate times to look around, mess with things, then tell us it was fine. After every time they came, nothing changed. Eventually they gave us each window ac units which is the only way we had cooling the entire 13 months of the lease. These units were literally put in with PAINTERS tape around the edges. So many bugs and dirt were getting in, so their solution was the attached picture. (like be for real...) 2. The water is poison. I started getting small red breakout rashes on my body and face shortly after moving in and showering here. We got water filters for every single water outlet, but still had rashes, and anyone who came over and used our shower would get these rashes as well. I emailed them about it, they "ran a test that came back normal" and did nothing. A few months into our lease, my roommate's small dog got unexplainably sick. She spent the rest of the lease spending thousands $$ at the vet with no answers. She started giving him bottled water only and he suddenly was perfectly fine. WILD. 3. NO SECURITY!! I had multiple packages stolen. There is a package room that is NOT locked at all where packages just sit there in huge piles where someone would open everything and decide what they wanted to steal or keep. (see pic). -My car was also broken into TWICE. See photos. Once they shattered my window and the second time they just ransacked my car. The night my window was shattered, there was also a hot wired car that was left abandoned running in the parking lot. The gates are constantly broken and would take 4-5 days or a week to be fixed. That place was a huge welcome sign for thieves. After so many of us residents were fed up with the office doing NOTHING (we all went up there multiple times to push for security and they always said it had to go through 'corporate' then there was no follow up), they had the DPD give a talk on "lock your car, take your keys, hide your belongings." That was definition of getting security...a joke. 4. Everything is broken. -I put my key into the lock on Thanksgiving Day and the entire lock broke. I called emergency maintenance and no one ever answered. I had to break into my own apartment just to get inside. But don't worry - you recall the window ac unit? No security there, so you can just pop it up and get right in!! :) -Our fridge stopped cooling, which we submitted a maintenance request for, just for them to tell us it's fine - when our freezer was liquid. After 4 separate visits from maintenance they told us they would get us a new fridge but they had to go to the store. Hours later they came back with a DENTED, used fridge that they put in from a different unit. 5. The sprinklers?? The system was broken the entire time we lived there. Sprinklers would shoot 10 feet straight into the air, FLOODING the area. The sidewalks were complete mud every day of the year. There was not even grass so why they went off like this is beyond me. Because of the flooding, our baseboards were water warped, which we believe caused mold. The entirety of our lease, I experienced insane brain fog and TERRIBLE tummy issues. The worst of my life, with no explanation. Since moving out, none. The wildest part is that 2 months into our lease and having experienced all of these issues, we went to the manager for either a concession on our rent or a solution and what they had to offer us was a $100 visa gift card split between the two of us. -_- AND we would only get that if we signed a contract that released them of ANY legal liability FOREVER??? So they're fully aware of how little they're doing. There will never be a single dollar of theirs invested into making that place livable. DON'T DO IT.

Beware of this apartment complex, building 11, and especially unit 1126. Main points: AC/Heat did not work, water gave us rashes and caused sickness in pets, very dirty living environments, and absolutely 0 sense of security. Despite many maintenance efforts, our apartment had very very poor working AC and heat. We had to eventually get window units installed (that would just end up blowing in dirt and bugs), and also had to get personal heaters for our rooms. They run the sprinklers like this place is in a drought- they drown the lawns which ended up causing water damage in our unit, and constant mudslides in the courtyards. Also- the water is poison and truly almost killed my dog. I promise I’m not being dramatic when I say this and have the months of vet bills to show for it. My dog never had any problems before living here and the team of vets could not for the life of them figure out why he was so sick all of the sudden. After multiple ER visits and regular vet visits (full of bloodwork, x-rays, everything), we by the grace of God finally figured out his constant vomiting and diarrhea was from the water at our apartment. We stopped giving him Carrara water and no kidding his diarrhea and vomiting stopped, and after months of being on many medications he was finally able to get off of them. He’s had no problems since we stopped giving him their water and moved out of this apartment. Finally in addition to all of this, this place does not prioritize resident safety or security at all. Cars were constantly broken into, the gates were always broken, package room was ransacked regularly, and cars were being hot-wired within the complex. If you value your peace of mind, a clean home, and healthy pets, live literally anywhere else.
