AI Review Summary
While the apartments offer modern interiors and spacious layouts, with a responsive maintenance team often highlighted as a positive, the overall living experience appears to be significantly impacted by several recurring issues. Residents frequently report concerns about cleanliness in common areas, including hallways and dog waste stations, as well as a pervasive rodent and pest problem within the building. Additionally, communication with management is often described as challenging, and issues with frequently broken elevators and security concerns related to non-residents on the property are commonly mentioned.

They said they open from 9-6, but when you go they are either close the door or just leave earlier. What kind of place it is?

Beware before moving here. After living in this community for 3 years, it has become one of the worst experiences my family and I have had since moving to this area. The rodent problem is especially disturbing and needs immediate attention. The rodent issue has happened to us three times since we have lived here. You can hear rodents inside the walls, and they even chew through filters to get into apartments. I’ve personally seen rodents running around the leasing office through the office windows and they are huge. The building is poorly maintained , the gym is dirty, the hallways are unclean, and there are often homeless individuals sleeping inside the building, walking up and down the hallways. The dog waste stations are rarely cleaned and constantly smell terrible. On top of that, residents are charged for services they may never even use and ridiculous charges without any warning. Communication is another major issue. The office rarely answers the phone, and most interactions are handled through AI instead of actual staff members. Security is also a serious concern. The courtesy officers seem to sleep through the night while various incidents happen throughout the property. Management has been extremely disappointing as well. Berkshire Property Advisors/ Investors has seriously gone downhill, and the rent is far too expensive for the amount of stress and ongoing issues residents deal with here. After a long day of work, people deserve to come home to a clean, safe, and peaceful environment but here, there always seems to be another problem. Please do your research carefully before considering this community. I truly regret moving my family here.

Christian was so helpful and kind for my tour! Everything was well maintained and I love the vaulted ceilings and spacious apartments! Definitely should come check it out.

I have lived at The Callie for almost three years, and unfortunately, my experience has declined significantly over time. I normally am not someone who leaves reviews, especially negative ones, but after everything that has taken place, I felt it was important to share my experience. Communication at this property is extremely poor. The only way to speak with someone in the office is if you happen to be off during a weekday and can physically go into the office. Calling the office is almost pointless because you are directed to “BRI,” an AI system that simply repeats itself and does not actually help resolve issues. Recently, I visited the office on my day off to ask about multiple trash violation fees charged to my account at $125 each. The leasing associate informed me that the charges were valid and included in my lease agreement. I was also told that warning notices had been sent prior to the charges being applied. However, I never received any warning notices at all. The associate further explained that the fees could not be removed due to Fair Housing laws. I then asked to speak with the Property Manager to see if there was any way the matter could be reviewed. I understood that he was busy during the day, so I followed the leasing associate’s advice and sent two emails on 5/12/2026 — one requesting a review of the charges and another submitting my 60-Day Notice to Vacate. In my email, I also requested: A copy of my current lease agreement A copy of the original warning email allegedly sent to me A review of the lease violation charges As of today, I have only received an email acknowledging my Notice to Vacate. I have not received any response regarding the request to review the charges, provide my lease agreement, or provide the original warning notice documentation. Ironically, while writing this review, the Assistant Manager sent me an email regarding a balance due on my account, yet no one has been able to respond to my request for a copy of my lease agreement or supporting documentation regarding these charges. That level of communication and customer service is extremely unprofessional and disappointing. Due to the lack of response and professionalism, I have also contacted the corporate office and requested a callback from a Regional Manager regarding this matter. I currently work in the same industry for one of the top property management companies in the DFW metroplex, and situations like this are simply unheard of and unacceptable from a customer service and management standpoint. This experience has shown me exactly how valued residents truly are here, which is unfortunate because this is the place I have called home for nearly three years. Over the years, I have witnessed numerous ongoing issues throughout the property, including: Dirty hallways Dog feces throughout the community Homeless individuals sleeping in elevators Residents throwing trash in elevators Residents using the bathroom throughout the building Rodents throughout the property For a property that promotes “Impeccable Homes. Exceptional Experiences.” this has not been my experience at all. I truly hate writing reviews like this, but based on my experience, I would not recommend this property.
