We have lived here close to 10 years and are very unhappy with the new management. If you like cold showers in the winter this is your place. Hot water issues for several months now. No notice no excuses no hot water. Sorry “ we will work on it”. Update; “ working on it “ meant calling the police instead of a plumber. Let that sink in. 😐 no worries the officer suggested I move. The “assistant to the manager “ had never heard of the “tenants bill of rights” or that hot water had to be at 120 degrees. Not 90😐 Who are these management people? I guess I was right to complain ; Ricky, We are working as quickly as possible to resolve your hot water taking so long! With that being said; Plumbers will be onsite tomorrow morning to replace the circulator pump. Water will be off from 9am–12pm during the repair. Really? They even asked us to renew our lease after they called the police on me for complaining about the lack of hot water for months.😐

I have been living here for a year and a half, and my experience has been excellent. The leasing and management team are very efficient and always willing to help whenever I need anything. They are professional, responsive, and genuinely care about the residents. The property is always kept in perfect condition, clean, and well-maintained. I also really appreciate that it is very pet-friendly. The dog park is wonderful and a great place for pets to enjoy and socialize. Overall, this is a peaceful, well-organized community with great amenities and outstanding customer service. I truly feel comfortable and happy living here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to call home 🐶 ☀️

I lived at The Bent Oaks Apartments for 2 years, and I can confidently recommend this hidden gem. It’s right in the heart of Far North Dallas, yet still tucked away enough to feel quiet and homey. It’s not the newest or flashiest complex in the area, but the pricing is fair and the classic, more “homestyle” floorplans actually give it a lot of charm. Yes, you can occasionally hear your neighbors, but it was never a major issue for me—in fact, it made me more mindful and created a small sense of community. What truly sets this place apart is the team that runs it. Linda, Adam, Scott, and Ozzy really care about the property and the residents, and it shows. Their integrity, consistency, and hard work make this older complex feel well-loved and well-maintained. Overall, if you want a solid, affordable, and genuinely cared-for place to live, Bent Oaks is a great choice.
