The Junction has provided me with the best memories of living with my friends. Moving from the Corps dorms to here was night and day and felt like living in paradise. Best pool in CStat

I have lived here for two years and I am planning on living here for my last year at A&M as well. Everyone that works there is super nice and helpful and I am so glad I found this community to live in!
August 2025
My roommates and I moved into The Junction in August 2023, and from the very beginning, we encountered multiple issues. Upon move-in, our unit was missing furniture, had clearly not been properly maintained, and had not been cleaned. One of the first and most serious problems was the air conditioning. Between August and September, our unit consistently stayed around 85 degrees. It took weeks before they finally placed window units in our bedrooms to temporarily resolve the issue. In addition, the walls and doors had visible scratches and damage — from the previous tenants’ dog — and our balcony had clothes, old blankets, and sheets that had not been removed before we moved in. We also experienced an ant infestation that took weeks of complaints before it was addressed. Our washer and dryer were broken, so we were forced to do laundry either at the clubhouse or at friends' houses. On top of that, we went several weeks without hot water — which is not only unacceptable but also a violation of basic housing standards. Management initially dismissed our concerns, claiming the water temperature was “fine.” It wasn’t until I threatened legal action that they finally investigated the issue. They later claimed they had no knowledge of the problem because they were away at a conference. While we were eventually compensated for these issues, the amount we received didn’t come close to covering the inconvenience, discomfort, and lack of amenities we were promised in our lease. Additionally, I had a package stolen while it was in the care of the staff. Although I was compensated for the loss, I had confirmation that a staff member had picked it up, and by the time I went to retrieve it, it had mysteriously disappeared. We also had ongoing issues with other residents or guests dumping their trash into our bins located behind our unit. One of the rules at the Junction is that your trash must be in a trash bag or else it won't be collected, and that is how we knew it wasn't ours. When it came time to move out, The Junction told us it was our responsibility to clean up the area or we would be charged $30 per bag of trash they collected — even if it wasn’t ours. That said, I do want to acknowledge that the management must have changed or brought in new staff, because many of the issues we faced were specific to the 2023–2024 lease term. My second year living at The Junction was great, and aside from the continued trash problem, I encountered no major issues. Update: After receiving my move out statement I'm lowering my review. I was charged for over $200 worth of "damages" but my roommates and I left the apartment in better condition than when we moved in originally in 2023 (with proof). We repainted all of the damage that was previously there from past tenants (something the Junction should have done) and also heavily cleaned the whole apartment.

They will charge you for normal wear and tear upon moving out. Before moving out my roomate and I vacuumed every floor and carpet, I cleaned all my furniture and wiped down and cleaned my bathroom and was met with over $300 in damage charges for damages that were not even there to begin with. They are going scam you over non existent damage charges!

We toured The Junction this weekend, and it blew the competition away on several criteria. We toured 12 locations, and took notes on everything! Below are the main reasons why we signed a lease within 24 hours of touring: 1. Abby was very professional, welcoming, and accommodating. We asked many questions prior to coming in for a tour, and she went above and beyond to ensure every question was answered thoroughly. 2. The Junction has a small-town feel from the second you drive into the property. This sets it apart from any other student housing property in College Station and Bryan, TX. 3. The amenities, including The Clubhouse are very nice and kept up nicely! 4. The interior designer for the model unit has excellent taste. Especially the scent selection, it was the first thing we noticed when we arrived. 5. Way to go management team for investing a little bit of your annual budget purchasing employee polos with the company logo. This was another example of how attention to detail really sets The Junction above the other complexes in the area. 6. The material selection to build and stage the model unit were made of good quality: kitchen cabinets, hardware, countertops, appliances, clings, carpet, flooring, light fixtures, furniture, etc. 7. Gated community, and although it is not 100% safe, that helps ease some of this momma’s concerns. 8. The management team has been responding to post-tour follow-up questions, and that’s amazing!! 9. We received an information packet with full color handouts: Floor-plan options, Property map, Pricing sheet with unit availability, a review invitation with a QR code, and a business card. Opportunities for improvement: 1. The fence behind the sand volleyball court needs to be fixed, there’s a section with several pickets falling off, and this can compromise access to the property’s perimeter. 2. The facility management might want to contract a window cleaning company to keep the windows clean in The Clubhouse, gym rooms, and the Poolhouse. 3. The pool furniture is in need of a scheduled power washing service.
