Update: Paul, the current manager here forged my initials on an official document less than two years ago. The university stated no harm was caused so no record correction, though they admitted Paul forged my initials. I reported externally to multiple channels today. I see from previous reviews that Iβm not the only one complaining about the residence manager Paul. Iβve been living here for 9 years and had a few interactions with him, and none of them were positive. The first few times I thought it was just he was in a bad mood, but itβs impossible that heβs in a bad mood all the time, so it is just his unprofessionalism. This guy keeps contradicting his own words and even once put my initials on official documents without my consent. If he ever does anything that is not strictly mentioned in the contract but slightly nice, even though it would require minimal effort from him, he would act like he did you a huge favor. The apartment management should know that he would be one of the first few people some new students would interact at A&M, and at least a generally friendly manner would be expected. The apartment itself is good. Close to campus and has a lot to offer. Maintenance used to be quick and reliable, but it took them a month to fix my wall and change the dishwasher that was not functioning well, so itβs getting worse. I would give a 5 star rate 3 years ago, but not anymore.

Gardens apartmenr single handedly makes me regret coming to TAMU already. At night, a nearby miniature golf-course (popstroke) plays very loud music until 12 am everyday, making you feel like you are sleeping inside a club bathroom. Because of this I have gotten more nightmares in the past week than my entire life. Basketball court is unusable with nets missing, water fountain broken, and big mud puddle awaiting to ruin your ball and your day. Apartment is very dirty as they do not get cleaned when residents leave. For the price you are paying at the gardens, you can get much cleaner apartment that is actually decent, has a swimming pool, and within close proximity.
