Overall, I had a great experience living here over the past couple of years. It’s more expensive than most apartments in College Station, but you’re paying for better in-unit amenities, a quieter environment, and a convenient location near places like HEB and Costco. Did not regret. Getting out of the lease is simple and convenient if you don’t have a clear plan yet. I’ll update this after I get my move-out charges. Update: I did not get charged for any damages or cleaning charges other than the carpet cleaning and express cleaning(?), which I agreed on before moving out. I am supposed to expect my full deposit and some other amounts in refunds soon. It only took me about three days (spending about 4-6 hours each day) to clean up the apartment during/after the moving process. All I had were some random cleaning sprays from HEB, 10 dollar 15-pack microfiber cloth, and an old vacuum cleaner; all of which I inherited from my roommate few years ago, plus a bottle of bar keepers' friend. P.s. After moving and thinking about the places I have lived, I think this place has the best kitchen: large space, actual ventilation, and all that jazz. So if you cook a lot like me, you'd probably like it.

It started out good. We picked this place as a temporary housing to wait for our new home to be built. They all knew this was a temporary housing and now that our house is ready and we want to move we are forced to pay for the whole month of April while we are leaving March 28th. Every adult individual knows that closing dates for new homes are not solid until it gets closer to the end. So...DO NOT RECOMMEND this place because it seems like they are trying to compensate for all the empty units (based on what their own staff told us) by charging people extra for no reason. We have also tried to talk to their corporate and office manager and we have been gaslighted and no actual response.

My apartment is cozy and I haven't had any major issues. Maintenance/staff is always super friendly and very fast to fix any issues. My only complaints are with noise at night, dog poop on the property/trash, and guest parking. There have been several instances of excessive noise at nighttime past 10:00pm and people not picking up their dog poop. Guest parking used to be spread out throughout the complex but now is only located in the far back of the complex, so if you want to have guests over, they might be making a trek. Overall, a nice, safe place to live.

I loved living at SoCo! My one bedroom apartment was spacious while being cozy and a place I loved to come home to at the end of the day. The amenities were great too! The fitness center was nice with lots of machines and weights. And the pool was so relaxing! Also, the location was perfect! H-E-B was down the street and lots of yummy restaurants too. It was perfect as a grad student who didn't need to live directly by the university. The management was very kind and helpful! Definitely recommend SoCo!

I lived at SoCo for about 4 years, and it is by far the best apartment complex I’ve ever lived in. The apartments and amenities are really great, but what really sets SoCo apart from other places I have lived at is the staff. They were always kind and understanding, and made me feel like they genuinely wanted me living there. They knew me by name rather than by my apartment number. I highly recommend SoCo to anyone in the College Station/Bryan area.
