This student housing option offers good value for money with spacious apartments, various floor plans, and a range of amenities like pools and a fitness center. Many residents appreciate the friendly staff and the frequent community events with freebies, which contribute to a lively social atmosphere. However, some students have experienced significant challenges with apartment cleanliness upon move-in, including issues like mold and broken appliances, and report slow or unresolved maintenance requests. Additionally, there are recurring concerns about an overly aggressive towing policy that can affect both residents and their guests.

The office has been unprofessional where they have now changed their resident portal that has been causing a series of inconveniences. My roommate has been attempting to contact the office that is a transitioning but has caused us to no longer access rent, while complaining they insist on putting in money orders that set back time and cause extra fees for us who don’t have partnered banks close by in which case we are paying more than what we should. The lack of viewing due to the removal of resident portal that disregards the main form for such payments that should be more conveniently handled especially for us contracted and have to deal with an involuntary transition soon before our contract ends. The inconsistency is unbearable they don’t even know what we owe because the portal is down.

DO NOT LIVE HERE !! My time at Parkway has been nothing short of exhausting, disgusting, and extremely frustrating. We are highly considering taking legal action for the following: - Neglect Towards Tenants - Breaking Contract Statements - False Advertising Neglect Towards Tenants: Upon move-in, the apartment was left extremely dirty. It was clear that no one had checked the apartment since the last tenant’s move out. My roommates spent most of the day cleaning instead of actually moving in. There were broken light bulbs left on the floor and human remains left IN THE FURNITURE of my room. All of the furniture in my room reeked of urine, along with urine stains on the toilet seat and in the shower. My first day in the apartment, I asked the front desk if they could remove the furniture in my room. The (extremely rude) front desk girl told me that they “don’t do unfurnishing” and said that I could RENT MY OWN storage unit to store it in until I move out. My room still smells like piss, which makes sense considering that the dresser and mattress is sitting in my closet. On the topic of disgusting living spaces, our bathrooms are being devoured by mold. My roommate has been feeling sick for MONTHS and her doctors all told her that the cause of her illness is most likely from mold poisoning. Still, Parkway has done nothing about the situation. Breaking Contract Statements: When we signed the lease, we were ensured that any issues we had with the apartment would be resolved by maintenance in a timely matter. However in the past they have shown that they do not uphold their part of their contract agreements. With multiple complaints to the office, through email, and google reviews posted, maintenance still took extremely long to fix our apartment issues. Our washer was broken for months and we had broken stove burners that no one came to inspect. It took the threats of my roommates parents for management to finally take the issue somewhat seriously. False Advertising: The summer before our move-in, Parkway posted on Instagram that new tenants for their August move-in date would receive new furniture. When we got the keys to our apartment, the old furniture was still in the apartment. Our couch is falling apart at its seams and there are stains all over the barstools and chairs. When we asked management if we could swap the couch for a new one, the front desk tried to gaslight us into thinking that the new couches are “extremely uncomfortable” and that they “promise we wouldn’t like the new couch as much”. We still never received the new couch. As much as I would hate to blame other college students who also work part time, the front desk alone has caused me most of my stress. After this absolute nightmare or a renting experience, the front desk staff has to be the worst part of the complex. The staff is extremely rude and unhelpful. It seems that their main concern is to push you out of the leasing office as fast as they can. They hired a small crowd of college students who sit at the desk all day and do nothing but hit their vapes in front of the tenants. Every time I come into the office, no matter the front desk employee, they have a nasty look on their face like it’s the biggest inconvenience for them to deal with anything I could possibly say to them. They have 0 customer service skills and will consistently tell me to “come back later” when a manager will be present, which he never is. Of course, I could not write this long of a review and not include pictures to prove my absolute train wreck of a time at Parkway. So here they are listed below. Our shower mold, with urine stains, after scrubbing with steak wool and bleach. Urine on the toilet seat of my bathroom. The moldy vents and holes in the shower, which bugs would crawl in and out of. Our move-in day conditions Mysterious white powder on the pool table, our first day in the apartment. I REPEAT. DO NOT LIVE HERE. Please spare yourself the nauseating stress of this absolute joke of an apartment complex. Parkway, do better.

Do NOT live here. I have never had so many problems with an apartment complex. I have had multiple complaints made to the office about things like mould damage in the showers, causing illness among me and my roommates. Parkway has not sent anyone to check the building, besides their annual maintenance check, which was weird because they noticed everything wrong with the house but no one was notified to fix it. They also make it difficult to pay your rent. I used immediate move in and the first time my rent was due their system was saying my card was expired, which it is not. I went into the office where they hire a bunch of teenagers who sit there with their vapes on the counter and give you no help at all. It is one of the most ridiculous jokes of a complex i’ve ever seen. I had to get a money order and turn it into the office for my first months rent, and when I did one of the receptionists told me that next time it would automatically draft from my account on the first of the month. The first of the month came and there was nothing drafted from my account. I went to try to pay it manually online again and the system said the same thing about my card. I was then told by the receptionists that I could get another money order and they would give it to their manager on Monday, however by that point, my rent was already considered late which resulted in a 10% fee. I work a full time job and do NOT have the time to be coming in and out of their office with a money order every month when I should be able to pay it online. When I called to complain the same receptionists answered the phone and said I could talk to a manager on Monday, but I will not be paying a late fee because of their systems mistake.
