Lory of Bryan

Great experience at The Lory of Bryan. The property is clean, well maintained, and feels welcoming. The staff are friendly, professional, and always helpful, making communication and maintenance easy. I would definitely recommend this community.

I’ve had a great experience living at The Lory of Bryan Apartments. The community is well-kept, quiet, and feels genuinely welcoming. Maintenance requests are handled quickly, and the property is always clean and well maintained, which really makes a difference day to day. A huge part of what makes this place stand out is the property manager, Byron Johnson. Byron is professional, approachable, and truly cares about the residents. He’s responsive, fair, and always willing to help resolve any issues or answer questions. It’s clear he takes pride in managing the property and making sure residents feel comfortable and supported.

The staff is helpful and ACTUALLY RESPONDS to your complaints with action. They actively prevent pests by adding a small pest control fee to your bill. Any roach that gets in here is dead before long due to chemical treatments. Every time I see one, too, I just contact the front office and they send a pest control expert to treat the apartment by the end of the week. All the fixtures work and nothing is falling apart/looks damaged. The community is gated and a cop lives here, so it feels very safe. The neighbors are pleasant, and they seem happy/well-adjusted. The Lory is also only a 20 minute drive from Texas A&M and a 10 minute drive to most grocery stores and the downtown area, while also being located on a quiet road. There is a park across the street with ample sidewalk lighting where it feels safe to go for long walks/runs/bike rides. Most of the people that live here have careers, so there isn't loud music or drunk students around. They have a reliable trash liaison service that comes most days, a gym, and a swimming pool that they maintain. The air conditioning works very well in my apartment in the summer. There is low risk of flooding from what I have experienced, probably because it is not built in a historic flood plain. This is a true gem of a place. I am contented to not look around for other options.

Loved living at the Presidio (now The Lory) during graduate school at Texas A&M University back in 2009 and 2010. Great location near the university, clean apartments and nice people. Amazing memories here! Built AltQuest Group while living there and had the best social moments as well.

Very welcoming and friendly staff! While we lived here they did some nice renovations, new painted buildings, new roofs, and the lighting in the stairwells definitely made everyday feel more at home. Maintenance requests were always handled timely. Amenities were enjoyed! Moving in/out has been an breeze and we felt valued by the staff when we gave our notice to move. Would def recommend to anyone looking to rent an apartment in BCS!
