Complex will make the elevator a key part of their sales pitch, then make zero effort on maintenance for the duration of your lease. Elevator was originally down for 15 months, during which there was zero concrete timeline offered for repair, countless excuses and promises that it would be fixed soon, and no offers of rent relief or other things to make up for the broken service. Finally fixed just to immediately break again, and now when I submit maintenance requests to fix the elevator, they mark them as completed even when nothing has been done. Great location being ruined by greedy ownership, DO NOT RECOMMEND LIVING HERE. EDIT: I want to clarify that the day-to-day maintenance staff here is great, the guys are very friendly and fix issues in a timely manner. It's just the complex's elevator maintenance contractors, and the ownership's responses to their failures, is awful.

I lived here for 3 years and really enjoyed it for the most part! The green space in the back, the pool, the gym, the coffee machine are all nice amenities to have access to. The vast majority of our maintenance requests were completed quickly and without issue. Management seemed to change often at this complex which led to some inconsistencies and communication frustrations, however recently current management (Samantha in particular) worked hard to advocate for us regarding one of those communication inconsistencies. Overall, I would recommend this complex.

Updating my review because I think this community deserves a chance and it is genuinely one of the best set ups in Austin for the price and location. They worked with me to resolve my issues at move out, though I wish we hadn't gotten to that point. The grounds are nice, the apartments are spacious, and the community of people is friendly. It is a great place for dog owners. I recommend more intentional maintenance as there had been issues of declining upkeep on the property as management kept changing. I still suggest a power wash of the hallways to elevate the look of the property for arguably very little investment.

I think it is unfortunate there is a lot of management change here and front office personnel. It made the 1 year experience there less than favorable. A/C issues, bugs, and the homeless encampments behind the complex. We also had an issue getting our deposit back timely. To date, we still have not received it. It’s a good area but it isn’t being kept up well. If they get a good team and start to pick up the phone more often, this place has a chance to turn around.

Don't be fooled by the 3.7 stars, if you look closely you will see 90% are from over 2 years ago, before the property management switch. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I lived at this apartment for two years and from the start there were non-stop issues, including the elevator not working for 9 months of my original 12 month lease. I was told the elevator was a luxury , which is not true, I pay the over priced rent, and expect the elevator to work. Things continued to get worse with the change of property management. The upkeep around the complex noticably decreased , the gate was broken for extended periods in which you could not enter without a clicker, so package delivery was a nightmare. The air-conditioning in our unit consistently was not working. Any form of communication with property management was slow & they acted like the tenants were an inconvenience. Getting someone to answer a phone call was near impossible and with office hours from 830-530, good luck getting in contact if you have a full time in person job, as they consistently arrive after 830. They also had a pattern of giving less then 48 hour notice, about maintenance that inconvenience the tenant, such as receiving an email on a Wednesday that all cars need to be out of the lot by 8am the next day or they are getting towed. Or when the send an email on Thursday stating they will be entering your apartment on Friday and then actually show up the following Tuesday. And despite all that when I moved out had no real motivation or intention to write a bad review. Until the complete nightmare of getting my security deposit back. I moved out of the complex in March 2024. When I gave my 60 day notice I saw the now former assistant propy manager in person and gave them my forwarding address and watched the employee write it down. I handed my keys in on April 25th, I followed up on May 14th regarding the time of my deposit and provided my forwarding address again. On May 28th after the 30 day requirement, I called and left a voicemail, to no response. I called again and left another voicemail to no response on May 29th and sent an email. They responded saying they were too busy with the accounting month close and did not process my refund yet, they asked for me to provide my address AGAIN and acknowledged that I had previously provided it, so I did. On June 2nd I called and got no answer, I left a voicemail and sent another email. On June 3rd they said it was placed in the mail. On June 10th I called again a week later to ask for a status update as I had not received the check. I was told they would get back to me, they did not. On June 11th I called again, to no answer and left a voicemail. I had to call the regional office to be told that the check was not cut until that day on June 11th and that they would get back to me about what was going on. I never got a response, I called them AGAIN and was told by the property manager they had to cancel that check because they were going to have to issue a triple deposit per Texas Law. I then had to reach out constantly to get an answer of any sorts regarding next steps. They did not seem to care until I threatened to take them to court to get my money back. They responded saying that because I did not email them my forwarding address and only provided it SEVERAL times over the phone and in person the 30 days didn't start until my email on May 29th and that I will receive it in mail by June 29th. I have been calling constantly to ask if I can pick it up in person, but to no surprise they have not answered the phone. I would not recommend live here or at ANY Willow Bridge manged property. This has been the absolute worst living experience, the constant turnover of property managers should be warning enough, as the previous assistant property manager told me on her SECOND DAY that she had already realized she would not be staying there long term, which makes sense that she could not care enough to document the forwarding address I gave her in person and on several occasions over the phone.
