My boyfriend just moved in this weekend and he loves it so far! Very convenient, close to campus, and Teresa was so helpful with his lease! She’s super sweet and she answered our thousands of questions with compassion and honesty.

An amazing apartment in the best part of Austin with staff that are super helpful and friendly. Troubadour management continues to go above and beyond to make sure their tenants are happy, I truly don’t have enough good things to say.

One reason to not live here. The towing. I’m a resident and my new car (which I informed them about having a new car) was towed. This review comes after them towing several other resident’s vehicles. When I went to the front desk they said there was nothing they could do. They do not help in any way shape or form. LIVE SOMEWHERE ELSE, there are so many better options within a mile radius of this place. I look forward to the day when my lease ends. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Very disappointed in the management here.

The space is clean, quiet, and well-maintained. The management team is responsive and friendly, and any maintenance requests are handled quickly. The location is convenient, with easy access to stores and public transportation. Overall, a comfortable and reliable place to live.

If you enjoy living in a luxury building where the elevators break at least once a month, this is the place for you. Troubadour has beautiful, modern units, a great pool, and a gym, but all of that means little when basic functionality is missing. We lived here for a year and the elevators were constantly unreliable. The grand finale came during our move-out: the elevator closest to our unit broke down and wasn’t fixed for a week. We lived on the sixth floor and had to haul all of our furniture across the building to the only working elevator. Moving took several days instead of several hours. Management’s response? “Sorry.” That’s it. No solution, no assistance—just empty apologies. As a bonus, every month or so the hot water would go out, and we had the special treat of cold showers. Again, management’s response was to apologize and move on, with no real effort to prevent the same problems from happening over and over. For what you pay in rent, you’d expect competent maintenance and management that actually resolves issues. Instead, you’ll get the same repeated cycle: things break → residents complain → management apologizes → nothing changes. Save yourself the frustration. Troubadour looks like luxury, but when the basics don’t work, it’s anything but. Live at one of the three neighboring complexes.
