I painted one of the units Interiors at Tom Green Condominiums. This would be a great place for young people that are going to college

The neighbors are awesome but the property manager and HOA are terrible. They advertise a low HOA fee to get you to buy and then constantly hit you with “special assessments.” The property manager is one of the most incompetent, unpleasant and rude people I have dealt with in my entire life and the HOA is run by long time residents who operate in a dishonest manner by advising low prices but charging thousands in “special assessments” every year. Save yourself the trouble and just buy a house.

tom green condos are a beautiful place to live. there are awesome windows, big huge trees, wonderful floor plans, etc. however, my specific landlord for unit 210, was severely unprofessional. She leased the apartment to me with a lease that would not have held up in court. She did not disclose that there was mold in the apartment and when I brought it up to her with evidence, she called me a liar. There were problems with her from the beginning. The doors lock didn't work well, there was mold, and the shower wouldn't stay hot for more than 1 minute. When I would bring these things up to her, she was always annoyed and told me that I was "the worst tenant she ever had." Anyway, I left and moved to an awesome apartment where the owner is kind and helpful. She was horrible and only gave me 80% of my deposit back since I was a "liar". I was the one who confirmed there was mold in the apartment (which caused me and my boyfriend sever upper respiratory infections) and when I called her and told her, she kicked me out. It took her a very long time (1 month) to finally send the deposit back. I had switched over my utilities once I had left the keys to her and then she told me I was "inconsiderate and unbelievable" because I had turned off the utilities before telling her. Even though... I had officially moved out and given the keys back. She wanted me to pay 400$ because she had to call Austin Utilities to get them back online. Oh - and she asked me to put a for rent sign up, which I did, and when she came to Austin whatever amount of days later, it was gone. She called me a liar for that too. Even though a storm had come in and obviously blown it away. Anyway, just beware renting 210 but not sure about the other units. It is a shame since 210 could be beautiful.

Nice location. Very expensive but not much has been put into the place for what looks like over a decade.
