My son Lived here over 4 years (2021-2025), spent close to $100k in rent here, but moved out to a larger place.I was coming to get surgery in Austin and suggested getting an apartment here but i should of went somewhere else. they were very happy to take my application and administration fee then they ignored the application for 8 days. after finally getting someone on the phone and trying to deal with there horrible third party system called vero they pretty much told us no. Melissa the manager canceled our application without our consent and kept our administration fee which they are supposed to refund if you are not approved. I served this country for 25 years and am disabled, feel cheated and robbed. now I have to apply for another place and pay another $200 for another place and it's all pretty disgusting coming from a multi billion dollar company (Northland Properties) i suggest if you apply, then be careful with how they state things. Will never refer or stay at another northland property in my lifetime. We are in the process of filing complaints with the state and going to small claims for the principal of this unregulated theft from disabled veterans.

I lived here for 2 full years and can truly say it was a fantastic home. For the price that you pay, you're getting a safe, quiet and clean community near many stores and restaurants in Sunset Valley. The staff has always been great and any time I've put in a maintenance order, it's been addressed within 48 hours. I highly recommend this complex for the aforementioned reasons, which is all driven by an extremely affordable rent.

I am living in the most beautiful apartment right now, thanks to The Park at Monterey Oaks! This is such a lovely community, it seems quiet and safe and it feels more like a home than a traditional apartment. Angela gave me the best tour, she’s super personable and made the decision easy for me. I just had to move in!

I truly enjoyed my time living in this community. It is extremely dog-friendly, which makes it a wonderful place for pet owners, and the walking trails is something our golden enjoyed daily. My fiancé and I also always felt safe which gave us real peace of mind. Now the maintenance team is outstanding. They are quick, professional, and keep the property in great condition. Management and staff take excellent care of the property, and organize cute events for the community to get together! One of the best apartment experiences I’ve had, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well-managed- family-oriented community.

We've been living at The Part at Monterey Oaks for seven years now and we love our apartment. We started off in a one bedroom back in 2013 and upgraded to the largest two bed/two bath with an office in 2017. I've shopped around and this is the best bargain for size, location, and quality of life. Many of our friends have said, "your apartment is nicer than my house." The details are what make these apartments such a great place to live, the painted walls, coffered ceilings with crown molding, dark laminate floors, and wainscoting. I counted seven closets in our apartment! Our apartment is an end unit with a private patio and makes it feel house-like. Maintenance issues are taken care of immediately, the office staff is very accommodating, and the grounds are always clean. There is a mile long walking trail which includes a track. What has kept us in the apartment for so long is location, location, location. We've never found anything that matches the proximity of the grocery stores, whole foods, Costco, restaurants, and a quick commute to downtown.
