Marquis at Great Hills

The Marquis at Great Hills is truly an outstanding place to call home. The community is beautifully maintained, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes it easy to feel right at home. The neighborhood is friendly and peaceful, and the staff consistently goes above and beyond—always professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. The location is also a major plus: convenient to shopping, dining, and everything Austin has to offer, yet still tucked away enough to feel calm and comfortable. Highly recommend this community to anyone looking for quality living in a fantastic area!

I have nothing but positive things to say for our 1 year time spent in this community. A big thank you to the leasing office staff and maintenance crew for being on top of everything throughout our stay. Coming to the end of our lease, have to move out to be closer to work otherwise renewing is a no brainer. Clean, safe, respectful community. Management had always been super attentive to our needs, transparent and honest. Just wanted to say thank you and if you are looking for a safe place to live, this is it.

My move-in experience with Megan was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. She was friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive to every detail. Megan made the entire process smooth and stress-free she communicated clearly, followed up when needed, and made sure I felt comfortable and taken care of every step of the way. You can tell she truly cares about the people she works with. Her positive attitude, patience, and willingness to go above and beyond made all the difference. It’s rare to meet someone who brings this level of kindness and professionalism to the table. I’m truly grateful for her help. As a resident since 2022, I've had a mixed experience at Marquis at Great Hills, with one major issue that has significantly impacted my rating: their predatory towing practices. BEWARE OF AGGRESSIVE TOWING: My friends' car has been towed THREE times despite my best efforts to comply with their strict guest parking policy. The management appears to profit from this arrangement with towing companies, who are quick to remove vehicles for minor infractions. The signage about registration requirements is deliberately inconspicuous, and their registration website has been unreliable at times. Even when the system was down and registration impossible, they continued towing vehicles – an extremely unreasonable practice that feels designed to generate revenue rather than manage parking effectively. Pros: Prime location with unmatched convenience to shopping (Costco, HEB, Target, Trader Joe's) Nice community design with attractive pool area Responsive maintenance team for repairs Pleasant grounds for walking Cons: PREDATORY TOWING PRACTICES that feel intentionally designed to catch residents Poor management with frequent staff turnover and dismissive attitudes Significant noise issues, especially in buildings near the pool Older units that don't justify the premium pricing Security concerns with occasional break-ins Impersonal community atmosphere The advertised amenities like the free car wash have been mostly unavailable, reflecting the overall neglectful management approach. While repairs are handled promptly when requested, the property feels overpriced for what you get, charging a premium mainly for the location. If convenience is your absolute top priority and you're extremely vigilant about parking rules, Marquis at Great Hills might work for you. However, be prepared for the stress and potential expense of their aggressive towing policy, which has been the most frustrating aspect of living here.

I am the community director and absolutely love this place. The apartments are spacious, charming and updated. The pool is beautiful and there is a large hot tub for the colder months. The residents are so friendly and really bring a sense of community to this place. We are working on a lot of projects and updates this year as well!
