Students consistently praise the convenient location and excellent amenities, often highlighting the positive and helpful interactions with the front desk and leasing staff, which contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. However, there are recurring concerns about maintenance responsiveness, cleanliness in common areas, and occasional issues with communication from management, particularly regarding move-out charges and resolving disputes.

While the amenities look fine on paper, dealing with Landmark Properties' corporate management following a major electrical fire that displaced us for weeks has been an exhausting ordeal. Accidents happen, but it is shocking that a corporate giant owning both The Mark and The Standard in West Campus was completely unprepared for an infrastructure disaster, forcing us to fight tooth and nail for daily stipends, hotel extensions through our May 10 graduation week, and a food spoilage reimbursement that took weeks of aggressive tracking to receive. A freshman at McCombs could calculate food spoilage compensation over a practice case study in 30 minutes, yet corporate dragged it out for nearly two months while keeping their student front-desk staff completely in the dark. This is the classic "West Campus special"—charging premium luxury prices for severe infrastructure failures and nonexistent corporate support—and you should absolutely look elsewhere if you expect professional communication.

Terrible place to live. The front desk people are lazy, uncommited, and don’t work fast. Don’t live here because they add fees for everything for no reason. Lease transfers are a nightmare with this incompetent staff. Elevators don’t work. A bad eletrical fire happened 3 floors above me and my fire alarm didn’t even go off. The trash chutes don’t work half the time so trash accunlates in halls. Flies, disease and pestilence all over. Put your child here if you want to get finnessed financially, put them in danger, and make their living situation harder at a premium price

Lived at the Mark in 2024-2025 Was illegally towed twice from the parking lot (both instances overturned in court) the building managers were extremely tough to deal with and always had attitude when dealing with residence. Car was broken into at one point because the parking lot gate was broken. Staff made no effort to rectify the situation. Of course recently the building had an electrical explosion as well. Poor management and poorer conditions. Would NOT recommend

The worst apartment complex ever. If you wanna live with snotty people and awful staff this is the place to go. The maintenance doesn’t care and will allow you to live in unsafe living conditions. The front desk workers are ridiculous and always have attitudes and act pompous. Their own electrical room caught on fire causing faulty sprinkler to create water damage on multiple floors. Do not move here. The reimbursement for the damages was measily chump change compared to the rent cost.
