I have truly enjoyed living at The Clark, there are so many good things to say. First: location, location, location. Truly the best location. A 5‑minute walk to downtown, 7 minutes to the lake walking trails, and a 4‑minute walk to Old West/Clarksville neighborhoods. You can be active and go for a walk on the trail, head downtown for food or drinks, or take the scenic route through Clarksville/West Austin for a quiet, neighborhood feel. The area feels incredibly safe and walkable, with sidewalks, cute parks, and beautiful homes. You really get the best of all worlds from this location. I even found a hair stylist and nail salon just a 2‑minute walk away. There’s also a Whole Foods about 5 minutes away, plus an amazing coffee and acai shop right next door. On top of amazing restaurants and bars being 1-2 blocks away. I am excited to become a regular at these places! Now for the property itself: it is beautiful and very well kept. Always clean and smells amazing. The skydeck has incredible downtown views, and my balcony has great DT views as well. It’s also an incredibly dog‑friendly property. The staff are amazing, quick to respond to emails, questions and are always calling people by their names as they pass them in the halls. The maintenance team is fabulous, probably the fastest responding team I’ve ever dealt with, handling work orders literally the same day and sometimes within the same hour. The gym on site is also really nice! The community and residents are truly great. People are so friendly and always saying hi or getting to know you. The sense of community here is strong, with resident events where everyone knows each other and hangs out. I’ve never experienced that at other properties, but it’s so warming and sweet. I think it’s because people stay here long‑term and are able to build real connections. I would recommend this place 1000x.

I had high hopes for this place after my sister lived here for two years... when I toured here in July of 2025 I was shown a one bedroom unit with a carpeted bedroom and access to my bedroom windows. Also didn't think that living right behind an active train track would be that bad...When i signed my lease i was given an apartment without carpet in the bedroom and windows that would not open due to the fact I was so close to the train tracks. My bedroom window has two paines of glass with dozens of fruit flies trapped between the two paines that management cant do anything about. Also not to mention the maintence team is incompetent with me needed to request the same issues at least two times before it is actually fixed. Also for those who don't know there is an active construction site right behind the Public Storage that is located adjacent to the Clark making working from home distracting and they have bright lights attached to the two tower cranes that are on all throughout the night. Also when i signed in August it was never brought to my attention that the pool needed to be renovated...as they have a leak in the foundation of their pool, and this is not the first time this has occurred. They now have the pool and only grille on the property shut down until May of 2026 and have active construction workers on site from 7am-7pm Monday through Sunday. Friends of mine that live at the Clark and have apartments facing the pool courtyard say that the noise is basically unlivable. When I respectfully asked if they would be willing to give rent concessions for us residents not being able to use the pool and or grille until may of 2026 they will not budge. Also be prepared to not be able to use one of the two elevators located on the property throughout the weekend, as they lock the second elevator for construction use only not to mention they have completely trashed that elevator. The pool courtyard is nothing but a dust storm and all the cars in the parking garage are covered with construction dust residue... I regret signing here at the Clark and will be moving when my lease ends in May.

I lived in Austin for 1.5 years and was fortunate to call the Clark home. The Clark was my corporate apartment when I first moved to Austin, and I loved living here so much that I ended up signing a lease with them. The neighbourhood is safe, quiet, historical, with plenty of cute cafes, fitness studios and dining options within a stone throw’s away. My office downtown is just a 15 minute walk away, while Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s is even nearer. I’m a fairly light sleeper but am not bothered much by the train as I sleep with ear plugs on. My apartment (603) has a gorgeous view of downtown Austin, and I love watching the sunrise and sunset from the living room. Amenities are also great - I frequently co-work at the sun-filled lobby and hang at the rooftop lounge. Besides the location - I wanted to give a shoutout to the Clark management team: Colleen, Iman, Sami, Ben, Mark and Matt. Off the top of my head - this team goes above and beyond for their residents: Organizing frequent events to foster a sense of community in the Clark, building a resident discount programme so we enjoy preferential rates at cafes/restaurants around Clarksville, as well as remembering their residents’ birthdays with cute birthday notes. When issues do arise, the Clark team is also swift to communicate them proactively and transparently, and I appreciate that they do highlight the steps they take to address the issues in their comms. Maintenance requests are also addressed by the next business day. Thank you so much!

I’ve lived at The Clark for almost two years now, and this is the best the property’s ever been. Colleen, Iman, Sami, and Ben have been awesome, super responsive, and just good people all around. The team has really stepped things up, and it shows. The property’s great, the location’s perfect, and the community feels genuinely welcoming. Keep up the good work!

Great experience 6 months in! Iman was the best leasing consultant- She showed us multiple units to compare between and was very knowledgeable about the building, amenities, and processes that The Clark has in place to ensure everyone has a pleasant experience throughout their lease. A few details about the place: - Community events are scheduled every month! It’s been great meeting neighbors and finding social groups. - Community spaces include plentiful working spaces, the pool and outdoor grill, entertainment room (pool table and shuffle board), and a rooftop lounge. - Great maintenance team! They are quick with repairs and keep the building looking great, from the inside to the outside. - Yes, the train passes directly behind the apartment. Probably not the best if you’re a light sleeper, but I’ve never had issues with it. Plus, if you absolutely can’t stand it after move-in, there’s a 30-day lease termination clause written into your contract. Come stay at The Clark! (and ask me for a referral code for some money off your first months rent lol)
