The walls are paper thin - you will literally hear your neighbor sneeze. In addition, the foundation has shifted and the floors are SO uneven - I get dizzy walking from one room to another. Water pools up to the backside of my toilet and tub - it's that bad. Dust and mold are also a problem with this old building, and unfortunately these renovations are just lipstick on a pig with a ridiculous price tag. This place should have been torn down years ago. The management company will leave you always wanting more as they are unresponsive and incredibly rude and unprofessional. Trust me when I say that you can find a much nicer / newer place in this neighborhood with ACTUAL amenities like a pool, fitness center, etc. with a reputable management company that will create a far better experience all around. Don't - do - it.

Cute building, HORRID Management. Please be wary. If it seems to good to be true, its because it is. The rent is astronomical for the complete lack of respect, let alone amenities. This complex is in a great area of Austin, and used to be a very cost effective, cozy secret spot. While the building itself may seem great [the upgrades do look lovely] this company is the worst property management company I have EVER worked with. Please read on and be VERY wary about signing with them. I am not an angry person, I am a person who does not want you to go through what I, or any of my friends at the building, went through. The building was purchased in the Fall of 2019 by Rastegar or Light Tower. As a current resident we were told they would work with us so we could stay, and it all started out very kind. However, this company cares about nothing except financial gain. We were treated horribly, and the rent was raised by 70%. While I understand this is part of living in Austin, the management team was horrifically rude to all of us. They completely stopped tending to our common areas, refused to fix things that desperately needed fixing, allowed construction workers [EVEN IN QUARANTINE] into our spaces constantly, turned our water off without notification, allowed unsafe living conditions and refused to answer or return phone calls. At one point I had to call from a friends phone and pretend to be a potential NEW resident to get someone to talk to me. They literally brought me, and fellow residents, to tears because we were treated like garbage. The common areas are not well kept, as it is currently a construction zone. If you're reading this post construction - don't let that make you feel better. These people are awful. They WILL seem nice at the beginning, and will call any low reviews "postings by angry people". That is NOT the case, they are liars and they will absolutely screw you over. There are MANY more amazing finds in this area - do. not. live. here. They don't deserve your money. Check out W. Lynn Quarter up the road [they have a pool!] Park Place [way more cost effective] and tons of other great spots in this neighborhood. Seriously, Clarksville has TONS of amazing finds. This place is NOT worth it.
