I just want to say that I had an incredible customer service experience with Alicia, she gave me a tour and let me say best I’ve had! She didn’t leave anything out, answered all my questions, and just amazing energy over all! Clean property as well! I highly recommend it! I will be back to lease!

Sadly, can't give this apartment complex a negative one star, roaches will crawl underneath your door and into your home. Maintenance walks in unannounced, no call beforehand plus has a TERRIBLE system for maintenance request. It might take three days, if they come, do a simple job!!! The people in the leasing office, including the manager are terrible at communicating with tenants and take no responsibility. Hated living here glad to leave. Also there mold

Recently moved into my new one bedroom apartment at ‘The Brook’ and I love it! The apartment complex is not new but it’s well maintained, well managed and safe, which is key as a woman living alone. The maintenance crew respond quickly to issues and the office staff is friendly and very helpful. I love the prime location, and the price of the apartments is lower them most other neighborhoods in Austin. All in all it’s a peaceful and safe place to live in the heart of Austin.

I’ve lived at the Brook for just over 3 years! When I first moved here, Lori at the office was such a great resource to help me with paperwork, since it was my first time moving across country. Since she’s left there hasn’t been anyone in the office nearly as helpful or kind, most of the women who I spoke with were either extremely rude or just generally unhelpful. There is a man there who was really helpful when I needed to get my deadbolt replaced and got locked out of my apartment, which was much appreciated. Never really had any issues with bugs, but there was a period where the water was shut off for days at a time. Last summer I was without AC for almost a week, and the office didn’t really offer much in ways of help getting it fixed or offering a place to stay in the meantime, which is what all my other apartments have done when needed, and that wasn’t even in the Texas heat. Pool has been closed for a long time with no fix in sight, during the peak of summer too. The hot tub has never been in working order for as long as I’ve lived here. Neighbors were FANTASTIC, love love love the community here. One of the best things about it. The Travis Heights area is fantastic also, such a pretty area. Over all an okay experience! A convenient place to live if you work downtown or don’t plan on using any amenities.

Just moved here from Indiana. Had to rent sight unseen and was worried by the ratings and reviews but I liked what I saw in the pictures. I'm in the back, right off the creek and in the most wooded area. Yes, there are insects that get in. Easily solved with a fly swatter. You will never rent an apartment near the woods and a creek and not deal with critters finding a way in. I realized the AC wasn't working on day 2. It was remedied in under 3 hours. Great maintenance staff. Friendly front of house. I would suggest renting here if you understand what apartment living is and that the world is not built to cater to your every need. Be self reliant. Not everything works all the time, some stuff is old, some new. There are footsteps and noises. And yes, if you don't have a tenant sticker in your window, you will get towed overnight. There is limited parking for tenants and ALOT of guest parking. Park where you belong. The practice is a bit predatory but your told up front what the deal is. All in all, I'm happy to have found such a gorgeous property. An oasis of green trees and plants in an otherwise dry and dusty area.
