I would STRONGLY advise anyone considering The Bouldin to LOOK ELSEWHERE! The building is overpriced, poorly managed, under constant construction and nowhere near the “luxury” experience they ~love~ to advertise on tours. I honestly regret moving into The Bouldin. For what I pay here, the experience has been unbelievably disappointing. I have been locked out of the building, the elevators, and even my own apartment multiple times at night. Standing outside alone, unable to get into the place I live, is scary and completely unacceptable, yet management treats it like a minor inconvenience. I have also been trapped in the stairwells because none of the interior doors unlock, and the only way out is to exit the building entirely just to get back inside. It feels unsafe, and management continues to downplay how serious these issues really are. The garage is a total disaster. It isn’t secure (literally the gate DOES NOT CLOSE and has been wide open 24/7 since the day the building opened). They’ve recently funneled it down to a single lane for a project they haven’t bothered to communicate about. Between the construction, the traffic from Lifetime, and Ubers/Paperboy customers constantly blocking the entrance, just leaving for work is a nightmare. Plus, there is zero guest parking, so good luck ever having people over! Access control in general is just terrible. Paperboy guests frequently wander the residential halls because nothing is locked properly, and I have been asked for directions at least once a week. The building still does not have a reliable fob system, even though we have been waiting for MONTHS. The phone fob barely works, and they have the nerve to charge 100 DOLLARS???? for a physical one. It feels like I am paying luxury prices for basic things the building cannot get right…. On top of that, so many of the amenities that were promised are still unfinished. We are constantly living in construction and dust, and management never gives clear timelines. The communication is awful, and the staff is unprofessional. Every update feels vague or last‑minute, and residents are left dealing with the fallout. (Oh… and at least one of the elevators in the building is down every week)

I have lived at the Bouldin for ~3 months. Overall it's a nice, new building with thoughtful design details in the units and the common areas, including several high tech features (e.g., app-controlled lighting for the windows). The leasing team and the security personnel have all been very kind, helpful, and communicative. The building is relatively quiet with respectful residents. There are some drawbacks to be aware of, which will likely deter my decision to continue living here after my lease ends: -I feel the building is overpriced for this neighborhood -This neighborhood is not as walkable as I believed. Additionally, South Lamar is loud at most hours of the day and the traffic can be really heavy near the building. There is also very little greenspace in this area. -The lack of guest parking is really tough and there's not a good long-term solution here given that the building sits off of a major road -The A1 floorplan has a serious lack of storage space which has candidly become problematic. My unit has one singular ~ 5'x3' closet which is a grossly insufficient amount of storage space for the average person. I was told that this building was designed by a hotel group, and it feels that way (as in…it feels like they weren't expecting me to need a place to put my things!). I have lived in multiple other apartment buildings and have never had an issue with storage until I moved here. -My A1 floorplan is on a corner unit and the windows seem to have very poor insulation. The living room area is noticeably colder than the bedroom / bathroom area (which don't have the wrap around windows). Maintenance has come in and agreed that this was an issue, but then said the issue was "solved" (nothing was done). -A few things that were shared during my tour haven't come to fruition as planned (e.g., the pickleball court)

This is the type of "luxury" you are getting when you sign a lease at The Bouldin. Everything from lights, elevators, and units being left unsecured. Best part? no one from the front staff does anything to help. Instead, they go next door and ask customers at the restaurant to write a five star review for 15% of their meal comped. The Bouldin staff scream unprofessional and immature. Someone from higher management needs to do a full internal audit on this place.

I’ve had such an amazing experience living here! From day one, the staff has gone above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly! Jennifer, Tory, Marissa, & Paul have made me feel so welcomed & cared for! They’re always so kind & quick to respond & help with anything I need! The community is always clean, quiet, and well taken care of. You can really tell the team cares about the residents. I truly feel at home here and couldn’t be happier with my choice. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great apartment and even better management!

The Bouldin is not only stunning but the team is amazing! Tory & Paul were so welcoming, nice and made me feel right at home! I love a Greystar property, they are the best management company and the team proves that. Any issue that comes up they handle it in the best and most timely way they can! I am so happy to call this luxurious place home!!
