So much constant noise from frats even during the week. Like eardrum pounding, wall shaking, migraine inducing noise. On the weekends is one thing, but on a tues till 2am its ridiculous. People that live here have literally slept in the library on days before they have a test. Plus elevators aren't all working and are filthy and things aren't always fixed timely

I have lived at Texan 26 for three years, and I cannot recall a single stretch of more than three days when something in this apartment was not broken or malfunctioning. Whether it is the lack of hot water, the fridge not producing ice, the washing machine and dryer breaking, the AC failing (in the Texas heat), or multiple issues happening at once, there is always something wrong. Oh and even when the hot water is "working", only one person per day can get a hot shower and that is only if we haven't run the washing machine or dishwasher that day. I live with 4 other people, so this is not a minor inconvenience but rather a constant frustration. I have seen management respond to other negative reviews by stating that the property is under new management and that past experiences do not reflect the current condition of the complex. However, I have lived here continuously since 2023 and still live here as of March 2026. The core issue is not the management but rather the low-grade, cheaply designed apartment complex itself. No management will fix this unless they decide to burn it to the ground. (I mean no offense to the maintenance team who have the patience of saints as they constantly run around this complex fixing things they must know will be broken again in a week max).

Nice place but will tow you the second they can. Wrote a note on my car saying I will get my new parking pass the next day and told management about it: towed. My parking pass accidentally fell one day even though I always park at the same spot and my car is registered on the website: towed. I’m down $700

Lived here for a year. Not perfect, but for a college student/young adult, it’s a good spot. Very few complaints. Only one elevator that would on occasion be out of service. Not the most soundproof walls. The actual building itself shows some signs of age, but all the appliances and amenities are very new and modern. Never had any issues with pests. Maintenance was always very prompt, friendly, and respectful. On the rare occasion I had an issue, the folks at the desk in the office were always nice, courteous, and helpful. They’ll occasionally have giveaways /events in the office. Location is great. Many landlords/apartments aimed towards college students are often shady and predatory in regards to charging extra fees after tenants move out. This is NOT the case with Texan 26. Very honest and straightforward people. I would recommend leasing here.

Texan 26 exceeded my expectations for Move-In weekend! Our apartment was clean, smelled fresh and the furniture is in top shape! I even rubbed my fingers along the window baseboards as a joke and they were clean 🧼! It was nice not having to walk through the apartment with a can of RAID ready to fight bugs! 😂. You just never know. Their maintenance team led by Ruben deserves a lot of the credit! Thank you to Isaiah too. The maintenance request we submitted, was resolved the next morning. The property manager Taylor and the leasing team; Jaia, Damaris, and Eldavia are amazing! Thank you for matching me with good roommates. The newer properties could learn a thing or two from the Texan 26 team! I know of people who moved into newer buildings, however, their apartments weren’t clean and they have bugs. Thank you for a smooth move-in and all of your hard work! I’ve been bragging about this place all weekend! 😊 Mario
