I just moved in to Sur512 and so far very happy - Rashod and Miriam were great to work with and helped out with our application on a time crunch. Rashod was very accommodating, responsive, polite and professional. The unit is nice and spacious, complex has good amenities and it's been a great move-in and first week experience.

SUR 512 offers a great sense of community along with modern amenities, and it’s in a perfect spot for easy access to all the South Austin hangout spots. I toured SUR 512 around September 2025 and moved in at the end of December. Rashod, the leasing manager, and Sherman, the assistant manager, were both incredibly personable and responsive, and they addressed all of my questions and requests right away. It’s been just over two weeks, and I’m already really happy living here. I would definitely recommend SUR 512 to anyone looking for a place in South Austin.

Rashod and Dianna did an excellent job helping me find another unit after moving in recently due to some noise disturbances. Even though I dreaded the move they were still very helpful and understanding of my situation. Rashod was very patient so I like working with him when it comes to any issues he gets the job done and has a good sense of humor. Christian one of the managers is also very nice and understanding he was working with me as well and is an honest guy. Over all I love my new apartment and is nice and spacious!

I had a great experience with Miriam, she is truly exceptional! Every interaction with her is warm, welcoming, and genuine. She is always super nice, carries a great attitude, and goes above and beyond for every resident she meets. Her caring nature really shines through—whether you have a question, need help, or just need reassurance, she’s always there with patience and a smile. It’s clear she truly cares about the community and the people who live here. Leasing consultants like Miriam make all the difference. Highly recommend her!

I LOVE MY APARTMENT- that being said. Arc trainer screaming screeching needs to be fixed. This machine is why I leased here. It yells and maintenance won’t fix it despite multiple requests for months by residents. Would like the panel of wood with mushrooms growing on it on my patio to be replaced. They had maintenance people on site replacing rotten wood on the patios and I went and asked the property manager twice if they could also replace the piece of rotten wood on my patio while they were doing it all week. She told me twice it couldn’t be possible. That corporate arranged the job of replacing the wood and the piece of wood on my patio couldn’t be replaced, and she couldn’t intervene. Another person in the office was horrified and said they would get it replaced. That was 6 weeks ago and I doubt it will happen. Just be your own handy man I guess. That piece of wood and the cabinet contact paper needing to be glued back down is the last thing that needs to be fixed after the 3 month part time job of getting the water pressure fixed, oven, dishwasher, etc. it’s been an unpaid part time job. I’ve had to follow up myself on everything individually 5-6 times waiting. I’m going to give up at some point and just repaint the doors and hallways myself, and buy a power washer for $100 on Amazon and just do it myself. Only rent in the 1st building, on a lower floor. They don’t show the 2nd building and keep the area by the leasing office the nicest. Im on the 4th floor in the 2nd building. Don’t lease up there. Oh and homeless people do drugs and leave needles in the amenity bathrooms. Kind of scary. Other things I could list but I’ll be nice. Would love the arc trainer screeching to be fixed tho.
