This was, without a doubt, the worst accommodation experience I have ever had. Please do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. I want to start by saying that my reviews are usually positive. I genuinely enjoy supporting businesses, and as a business owner myself, I understand the importance of customer feedback and reputation. However, this is one of the very few times I feel compelled to share a negative experience. When I arrived, the apartment was in terrible condition. It had a strong, unpleasant odor that reminded me of an old nursing home. It was immediately obvious that the apartment had not been properly cleaned. To make matters worse, mold started falling from the ceiling while I was washing dishes. Safety and security were also major concerns. I never felt comfortable going downstairs because it seemed that various people had unrestricted access to the complex. At one point, a woman approached me and followed me all the way to my apartment, which made me feel extremely unsafe. The management also entered my apartment despite my explicit request that nobody enter while I was away, as I had valuable belongings inside. My request was completely ignored. There were cockroaches throughout the apartment. The unit is old, poorly maintained, and simply not a place where anyone could comfortably enjoy their stay. The laundry facilities were dirty, the machines were outdated, and it was clear that regular cleaning and maintenance were not being performed. On top of everything else, the staff treated me with impatience and a lack of professionalism. Overall, I cannot recommend this place under any circumstances. The experience was disappointing, irresponsible, and far below any reasonable standard of hospitality. I will never return, and I certainly will not recommend it to friends, family, or anyone in my circle.

My college-aged son just moved into Congress Square Apartments for a summer internship in Austin. The apartment is in a great location, clean, and well-maintained. The property manager, Rickey, is very responsive and professional. We are happy to have found such a great place for the summer!

We’ve lived here for a few years and love the location and the charm of the unit! Rickey is a fabulous community manager and recently helped us with some confusing paperwork with joy and ease. Would highly recommend!
