I’m from Austin and I knew this is the area I wanted to be in (in spite of the PEH challenges; it’s a city-wide concern). I love the location and am comfortable walking to the coffee shops nearby. I’m happy I chose Prospect. I’ve been happy with the apartment and my studio. The gym and amenities are nice. No major issues there. Most importantly, I feel the staff is friendly and available to help. Priscilla and Will are wonderful, and they have been so helpful and responsive. It’s been a great experience.

I wanted to highlight the great experience I had with Priscilla. This was my first time meeting her, and she was incredibly kind, patient, and professional while helping me resolve a billing issue. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made the whole situation much less stressful. I also want to recognize William and Kelsey — every interaction I’ve had with them has been positive. They’re always friendly, attentive, and hardworking, and they make the office feel welcoming. Thank you to the whole team for the excellent service. Your kindness and professionalism do not go unnoticed!

It’s been such a bittersweet (but mostly SWEET) journey living here. The first three months were honestly terrible—an experience I wouldn’t wish on anyone. Management wasn’t responsive to some major issues at the time: a serious German roach problem in the apartment, at one point water leaking from my ceiling (they dealt with that pretty swiftly), people pulling trash from the dumpsters left right outside my balcony, and roaches all throughout the hallways. I even had to buy a tent to store my belongings inside my own home just to protect them from pests. Communication was slow as well—phone calls and emails often went unanswered. I had about $100 worth of packages stolen, which isn’t entirely the complex’s fault since they do provide package lockers, but it was still my first time experiencing ongoing package theft in a residential building. They send out messages every other month reminding people to report thefts and how to handle them with authorities. The garage gates also seemed to always be broken. After those first three months, things finally turned around. For anyone dealing with pest problems: make sure the unit is checked for cracks or entry points and have them sealed. Pest control often just sprays pesticides, but the real fix is addressing the source, not just the symptoms. Additionally, read up on Texas health codes and your rights as a tenant. I did have to be very hands-on to get everything handled, but I learned a lot about what to look for when moving into a new apartment. It was a tough experience, but a valuable one. The staff I interacted with—Kelsey and Will from the leasing office, two other male leasing agents, the pest control technician, and the maintenance man—have all been incredibly KIND🤍, bubbly, respectful, and genuinely friendly. Kelsey gives the best tours; she could outshine any of the Selling Sunset girls! Will is fun to chat with and really cares. The maintenance man always greets me with a “good morning,” and we talk sometimes. They are wonderful people, and I wouldn’t trade them for any other resident team. The amenities here are stunning. I love the work-from-home offices, the club area, the sky deck with outdoor media viewing, and the pool table. Even the leasing office is stunning. There’s a cute little park across the street too. The pool is modern and chic, and the botanical gardens around and throughout the property are beautiful. The apartment interiors themselves are gorgeous—new finishes and appliances, high ceilings, under-cabinet lighting, a beautiful kitchen backsplash, huge bathtubs, and plenty of storage. Everything just feels fresh and new. Now that the rough start is behind me, I truly love living here. It feels like home, and I plan to renew my lease next year. I do think you should consider moving here—just make sure to check for any potential issues and have them addressed before you move in. We’re all a work in progress, and I extend grace for the challenges I faced early on. I wish I could give it 4 or 5 stars because of my experience later into my lease but it wouldn’t be fair. Thank you, Prospect! Upwards and onwards🤗

I visited a friend at Prospect and was impressed with upkeep and the office. I spoke with Will who showed me around really quick. He was professional and friendly despite me just being a visitor. Location is great off SoCo and St Elmo area for walking distance. Very friendly and upbeat building overall. I didn't sense anything close to the negative comments posted! My friend loves living here, and the visitor experience was great.
