tolerable on some days, but you’d be better off almost anywhere else. i’ve lived here for 1.5 years now. i have had issues 24/7 with cell service while living here. maintenance is iffy. 1 guy, who i coincidentally dealt with most of last year, kept breaking my washing machine (even though someone else had to accompany him most of the time he visited my unit.. so essentially 2 members of their maintenance team broke my washing machine on multiple occasions before someone else finally fixed it on the 4th request), and blatantly lied about my dryer being fixed, which dismissed my initial maintenance request and led to weeks of constantly reaching out to the building to see when my dryer would be functional again. when i moved units, i discovered black mold in my washing machine. couldn’t wash my clothes in my own washing machine for 2+ weeks. suuuuuuper frustrating. my electricity bill alone was INCREDIBLY high for student housing (triple digits) and took over a month to fix after coordinating with the utility company, numerous emails to the property manager, and several visits to the leasing office! My air filters hadn’t been replaced, which is supposedly a routine check when new residents move in each unit, to my understanding. Residents do not always follow the trash policy, meaning the trash room, and hallways, will be filled with trash Friday-Monday! On the bright side, the Nest candles make this experience just a little better. I lived in Callaway and nothing could be as terrible as that, but this is a close second! Lastly, don’t consider living in a unit that has 2+ BR if you’re skeptical of random roommates. I personally have had decent luck with roommates while living here but my friends have had the worst imaginable experiences with roommates. Whatever roommate matching system they have (with floor plans like Marfa) is absolutely backward and needs Jesus ASAP.

I’ve had such a great experience living at Rambler! Meme and Christina at the front desk do a phenomenal job — they’re always welcoming, professional, and quick to help with anything that comes up. Whether it’s packages, maintenance requests, or just saying hi when you walk in, they make the place feel like home. Rambler is lucky to have them!

I've had a fantastic experience living at Rambler in Austin! From the moment I moved in, the staff has been friendly, responsive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make residents feel at home. The leasing process was smooth and transparent, and the management team continues to be professional and approachable. The apartment itself is modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The finishes feel upscale, and the layout makes excellent use of space. The common areas are a standout — the gym is top-notch, the co-working spaces are perfect for students and professionals alike, and the rooftop views are unbeatable. Location-wise, Rambler is hard to beat. It’s close to UT Austin, restaurants, coffee shops, and everything else you could want in central ATX. It feels like you're in the heart of the city but still have a quiet, comfortable place to come home to.

I lived in the Sedona (5x5) and it is such a great floor plan. I love the view from our living room/bedrooms because we face the sunrise and the tower! Our living room/kitchen area is very spacious and open, there's plenty of space for multiple people to be cooking in the kitchen without feeling crowded and plenty of space for pantry items/dishes/etc. The beverage fridge is such a plus and we have so much storage space in our kitchen. Definitely the best floor plan I've lived in compared to other west campus apartments!

The best floor plan I have lived in in West Campus. I am in the 5x5 Sedona Bedroom B, and my room has amazing windows (+ a view) and is the biggest room I've ever had. Each of our rooms are down a long hallway instead of opening to the living space which helps with noise from living with 5 people, and overall adds square footage so the apartment feels really big and spacious. The living space and kitchen is my favorite part and is thoughtfully designed to live comfortably with 4 other roommates. In the entryway, across from the doors that open up to our laundry, there is a big enough space to put a kitchen table or other furniture - we put a coffee bar for extra storage and counter space! Everyone's bathrooms are equal size, with all of my roommates having bathtubs. 2 of my roommates don't have windows, but there is extra lighting in their rooms. Honestly my room is pretty bright at night and in the morning with the floor to ceiling windows so if you like darkness the non-window rooms would be better. As for maintenance... when we moved in, we only had 4 barstools - but they took care of it quickly. We've also called maintenance for our dish washer not closing properly about a month ago and our water not being hot enough when we first moved in and both were fixed within a day. Kieth is very helpful and makes sure that we are in the know of what is happening when he is in our unit.
