Beyond excellent! A big shout out to Toni ⭐️ She made my move-in experience very smooth and quick, understanding that I needed to move ASAP. My move-in date was the 10-3-25 but was notified to move in the next day due to last minute maintenance & resurfacing work - which was worth it! Because my new unit really impressed me, it was given to me in very clean and functional condition despite being a much older unit! All of Rainier Properties are older apartment complexes and they do a very good job at managing those older communities. Highly recommend Rainier Properties

I had my truck towed. When they assigned me. A parking spot. They didn’t refund me. When it was entirely their fault. Besides that it’s pretty quiet. It’s not in a bad location as well, but I will say this. They are double standards. I tried to move in with a friend of mine. and they Didn’t approve of that, even if I signed an application, but they did want me to Renew a lease with them, so that doesn’t make no sense. I had to look for another Apartment.

Penthouse has great views and is really close to school. It’s also normally pretty quiet and safe. Its right next to a fire department so you may hear siren occasionally but its a plus imo. Parking is assigned spot so its guaranteed. Only downside is the building is kinda old but it is what it is. Shout out to Rainier being a great management company. Been living in Austin for 4 yrs now and this is the third apartment i lived in. Best management out of the three: 1. Quick and solid maintenance order completion, 2. Always doing something that makes the place newer/look better (powerwashing the floors/walls, renovating laundry room etc) and 3. Great office staffs, always approachable and patient

Penthouse apartments is okay on price and has a great location. As you can see from the pictures the building is old and has old ACs that run about 24/7 to barely keep my place cool in the summer (my electric bill was way to expensive for a apartment). Had some problems with maintenance people just clearly ignoring my requests with a leak above my bathroom that went on for months but hey it's their building not mine. Lived here for 2 years and would recommend if you can find it for the right price but hard for me to stay longer with other apartments offering full amenities for a cheaper price. Give a 3.5 star

I have lived here for 6 months so far and have been appalled by the lack of respect for the tenants. When dealing with maintenance or desk staff, my needs and concerns have been pushed aside. I once called for someone to come out and check for bedbugs as we were getting bit, and come home to find my mattress flipped on the floor, sheets on the ground and found our facilities were used (toilet seat up in female house). Never found out if we had bedbugs and there was never a note claiming staff had been by and that was an extremely violating feeling. The most recent disappointment is how they are handling our cockroach problem. I called emergency maintenance on Saturday (1/30/21) and got a call back saying we were on the list for Tuesday. They gave me the name of the pest control and when i called the pest control- absolute pest control-they said they would come out on Wednesday...okay so already miscommunication! Anyway it’s now Thursday and no one has come for said emergency. Susan from penthouse told my roommate someone came out on Tuesday but there was no note saying someone came into our apartment or treatment was done. Why even offer a pest control service if you aren’t going to utilize it. It’s concerning because i have a pet so if someone sprayed chemicals without my knowledge and my pet got sick, well that would be a different story. Don’t rent from a place that treats you and their complex like trash :)
