Old South Austin Apartments

I lived here, my first three years in Austin, Texas. I would have stayed longer if I was not moving in with someone. Perfect location and I felt safe. Nice community, everyone is super sweet. The washer dryer area is always clean. Maintenance was always good about responding quickly to my request. The landscapers come once a week, overall great experience. Sad to be leaving but needed somewhere bigger. Perfect spot with a 45 minute walk to downtown. I will definitely miss this apartment.

I recently moved out of my Old South Austin Apartment. I had a great experience living there. It's a quaint, well maintained complex with an amazing location.The management was wonderful to work with- always professional and responsive. I would definetly recommend this community to anyone.

Had a bad experience with another Rassier-managed property, Park Terrace, sharing here for vis: Had a very "rocky" move out. I had to end my lease early to relocate for work, but was able to secure a tenant who ended up paying ~$200/mo more in rent still with no vacancy, and I was still hit with a re-letting fee of ~$1450, which is a month of rent. No justification as to what that cost was for. Left a bad taste in my mouth of an otherwise very pleasant stay. The apartment itself is solid - never had any major pest issues and the location is great. But I lost faith in management after this, very said!

The whole process of moving in was smooth & communication with Maureen (property manager) was perfect. I’ve loved living here— great location, pretty landscaping, laundry accessible. Easy parking! The unit I stayed in was pretty new and updated. Anytime I needed maintenance done, the team was always quick to help. I’d stay longer if I could, but I’m relocating cities. Just take into consideration that this place is right off south 1st, so it’s very busy at peak hours with two lanes. But that’s not anyone’s fault, but the growing population of Austin. Maureen is awesome! Thanks so much for everything!

I have lived in this apartment complex for a number of years. My 2/2 is the perfect size. This small community is tucked into a cute little pocket of south Austin that feels very safe and comforting. The maintenance team is always really fast and the property manager is very hands on.
