Unsafe, filthy, and broken amenities - Do not live here!! I recently moved out and I cannot recommend this place to anyone. My experience here was incredibly frustrating and expensive. Security is non-existent. I discovered one evening that my car had been left on blocks with all four wheels stolen (see photo). It’s a violation you don’t expect when paying rent for a gated community, and management was unhelpful. On top of the safety concerns, maintenance was a nightmare from day one. For the first three weeks after we moved in, the washer and dryer were broken and completely unusable. The rest of the property is just as poorly maintained. The grounds are disgusting—there are piles of dog poop everywhere you walk. The recycling and trash areas are also a disaster, almost always overflowing with garbage, boxes, and debris. It’s an eyesore and a health hazard. Save yourself the headache, the money, and the safety risks. Look elsewhere.

The apartments themselves and the amenities have been fine, and I haven’t had any major issues with the unit. However, I would not recommend this complex to anyone who has a significant other or expects frequent visitors. The guest parking policy only allows the same guest to park at the complex 14 times per year before their vehicle is subject to towing. This was extremely disappointing, especially because parking was something I specifically asked about during my tour and this policy was never mentioned. Had I been informed of this restriction upfront, I would have chosen a different complex. Parking policies like this significantly impact quality of life, and transparency about them is important when prospective residents are deciding where to live. Changing my review since upper management did reach out and help me resolve my issues!

Maa has a “slap some duct tape on it” approach to almost any maintenance request. I’ll list the problems I’ve dealt with since living here Fridge sounds like a 747 getting ready for departure but they wont replace until it completely goes out and you lose whatever was in there Water heater was 23 years old and the only reason they replaced was because I threatened to have an inspector come out Air handler IN apartment has more mold (and rust) than a 3 month old loaf of bread Toilet leaks septic into apartment but they think slapping a bead of caulk down on top of old caulk (which iyk caulk doesn’t stick to caulk) will somehow fix it instead of doing the right thing and re seating it on a new wax ring I have a friend that lives on the 3rd floor and he was telling me almost every night it sounds like raccoons are fighting over territory in his CEILING HAHA this one I can’t attest to but I definitely believe it Non maintenance issue but still really gets me heated - we have a pay portal where you pay them rent and whatever through. These guys emailed me a bill out of nowhere. (I don’t check email especially theirs because they send you 10 a day about random junk) but anyway they sent me a bill through email instead of the portal and never told me so the bill went unpaid and was sent to collections ruining my credit!! I STILL LIVE HERE! All they had to do was tell me and it would’ve been paid immediately but no that’s to much of hassle for these guys they’re probably to busy counting the millions they save by having garbage quality maintenance. Do yourself a favor and keep looking for a place to move that isn’t going to cause you health issues. this place is a death trap waiting to happen and I can’t wait for the lease to end. Would definitely give 0 out of 5 if I could

Chris and Johnathan did more in one week in my apt than has been done in the last 2 years! I’m very thankful. They were both professional and quick ! I’m happy to have a new fridge and microwave!

Got an email saying a chair in front of our door was “unsightly” and we’d be charged for “trash” meanwhile property management leaves the complex like this for MONTHS. Not one agent walks these grounds to ensure cleanliness. There is garbage EVERYWHERE on property. Make ready trash is left outside of the door until an occupant actually moves in. You definitely get what you pay for. Maintenance is quick for repair and that’s the best thing. Other than that they don’t care for the property unless it’s front office.
