This apartment complex is often praised for its friendly and responsive staff, including a maintenance team that handles requests promptly and efficiently, creating a welcoming and home-like atmosphere for many long-term residents. Its quiet, tree-lined setting and convenient location near major roads, restaurants, and grocery stores are also highly valued, as are the unique amenities like concierge services and a kid-friendly pool. While some residents note that the buildings and appliances are older, leading to occasional issues like pest problems, the overall sentiment highlights a strong sense of community and dedicated service.

I love life at Le Montreaux! Friendly staff, prompt response to maintenance requests, quiet and kind neighbors and preventative maintenance going on all of the time. That is not something you can expect at very many apartment complexes in my experience. I would, and have, recommended Le Montreaux to anyone needing an apartment in this part of town. This is the kind of place that feels like home!

I’ve truly enjoyed my experience living at LeMontreaux over the past year and just happily renewed my lease for another year without hesitation. The professionalism, prompt service, diligence, compassion, and understanding shown by the staff have made this feel like much more than just an apartment complex — it feels like home. Mary and Julie have been especially kind, patient, and helpful, particularly when I’ve had technology challenges or unexpected issues arise. They responded quickly, handled everything with ease, and made stressful situations feel completely manageable. Their care and professionalism never went unnoticed. Robert also been wonderful with maintenance requests — always timely, professional, and efficient, ccmpleting the work thoroughly and respectfully, often leaving no trace he was there except the completed task and notification that everything was taken care of. And I see Oscar, daily, maintaining the grounds diligently with a joyful heart, always greeting me with a genuine smile! The property itself is beautiful and peaceful, quietly tucked among mature trees that make walks around the community genuinely pleasant. I also love the retro charm and character of the property. One thing that stood out to me is how many residents have lived here for 5+ years, which says a lot about the quality of life and sense of community here. Thank you, LeMontreaux, for your continued dedication to maintaining such a beautiful, comfortable, and welcoming place to call home.

As a current resident at Le Montreaux, I’ve had a wonderful experience living here. Right from day one, my apartment was clean, ready, and welcoming. The leasing team, especially Mary and July, are fantastic. They are always caring, helpful, and incredibly prompt whenever I have a question. The maintenance crew is equally impressive, handling the few requests I’ve had with great speed and efficiency. I also love that management is actively investing in the property; they recently power-washed the building exteriors and are currently re-paving the parking lot. To top it all off, the community itself is wonderful, and my neighbors are incredibly friendly and kind.

If you want proof that this property is neglected, just approach the stairs they have on Steck Avenue. On Steck, just East of the entrance to the property you will find a set of stairs that are falling apart. The railing on the front balcony to my old building was also falling apart (bldg 24). 1 star because maintenance is reasonable or I'd give zero if it was an option. One day I was in the parking lot and a random person told me they were looking at the complex and asked me what I thought. I asked them how they felt meeting the office staff- they said it felt rude. I pointed out the filthy siding to them and told them I am moving to a place with more space at a cheaper cost and I could not stand it here. Denise and Mary are so rude it's unreal. When I went to get my keys I wasn't feeling well and asked Denise to repeat some of the guidelines and she acted like this was such a bother. I told her upfront I was not operating at full capacity and needed her help understanding what was expected of me as we went over the documents- she was incredibly rude about it. There were numerous tenants who let their dog off-leash (despite it being against the law) and Mary gave me a hard time about me bringing it up "You don't have dogs so you don't understand." One of the dogs even bit a kid. It was the same dog in unit in bldg 24 (yes I know which unit but don't want to risk getting myself in trouble) and the lady kept leaving the window open for her dog to bark and anyone in the parking lot all day and all night. That lady even tried to run over a tenant with her car when confronted about the dog. I submitted video evidence of the dog's activities allowed by the owner, including the dog acting visciously, and I was told I am the problem. The floor in my unit had chunks that would move as if the foundation was falling apart. I was on the second floor so not sure what else to call it aside from foundation. And there was a large crack on the cement outside upstairs in the building I lived in (I think it was bldg 24). If you notice the siding is filthy on all of the buildings and the gym is ridiculously small and cramped. Despite it being a gated community there were three break-ins in the one year I lived there (for the entirety of 2025). For $100 less I got nearly 50% more space elsewhere. I was in a small 500 ft apartment paying nearly $1,100 and I found a much better deal elsewhere that included a washer and dryer in-unit. Speaking of washer and dryers, the washers on this property are pure junk. There is too little water to do any reasonable amount of actual cleaning. I have brought this to the attention of the office and the company that runs it- obviously, I was blown off. This place is mostly good for hispanic families that have those extremely obnoxious ankle-biting rats who don't believe in leashes or controlling their pet at all. Horrible company, horrible management, horrible property. The bug problem is out of control. There were holes in the siding that allowed the bugs to get into my apartment and I couldn't do anything about it. This place is so gross. Other reviews backup my claims. I promise you can find a better deal elsewhere.
