The location is great and Felicia has always been helpful. The main maintenance guy is super friendly and always greets me with a smile. I feel like I am getting a great value for the price. My neighbors are also friendly.

Recently toured the community with a friend. The community is older but very clean. The staff was helpful and showed my friend a couple of units and available areas. Location is great and the price was perfect for his budget.

UPDATE: DO NOT LIVE HERE - ROACH & BLACK MOLD INFESTED If I could give ZERO or NEGATIVE stars, I would. Living at Forest Creek was one of the worst decisions I could’ve made. They had a MAJOR GERMAN ROACH INFESTATION that has followed me to my new living space and I’ve been fighting them off for months. They infested so much of my stuff I had to throw away thousands of dollars of clothes, food, furniture and ELECTRONICS because they would burrow their way in and the pest control did nothing about it. They confirmed the infestation and then never came back to clean it out. I left for a few days while moving out and when I came back the fridge, dishwasher and AIR VENTS were crawling with roaches. It’s been a nightmare of a process to get rid of them STILL. Not to mention the countless black mold issues in the bathrooms, and mold under the floorboards that got into my mattress, rugs and other furniture that had to be thrown away. I contacted them about it this in an attempt to break the lease due to uninhabitable conditions and they attempted to charge me a reletting fee and hold me responsible for the remaining lease. It took me MONTHS of back and forth with them, and documentation to finally get out of the lease without any additional fees. if this wasn’t enough, I also caught them dumping TOXIC WASTE from their laundry room into their creek which feeds into the greenbelt, and is also home to a lot of local wildlife, including turtles (that they claim to take care of) I had to call 311 to show up and they gave them a fine. This made no difference as the very next day they went back to dumping countless gallons of laundry chemicals. Except they tried to hide it in another area of the creek so no one would notice. No such luck as we called 311 again and they got another fine. They wont work with you, and will not do anything to address their failures and will shift the blame back on to you or just ghost you. They’re damaging our local ecology, and exploiting citizens looking for an affordable place to live. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!! (unless you want roaches and mold in every crevice of your living space) — Old Review: this place is owned by a corporation trying to capitalize on the loyal residents and screw them over at any opportunity. they’ve raised the rent hundreds of dollars, taken months to fix issues, and have a major german roach infestation. they continually find ways to squeeze you out of more money while providing worse and worse quality as time goes by. the rent is affordable (for now) compared to other places in this location, but expect little to no response when you raise any complaints or issues. black mold in bathrooms, collapsed ceilings, broken laundry machines and vending machines. very limited visitor parking with confusing signage that changes constantly. they’re known for towing anyone at ANY TIME. if you’re a resident and have an expired tag. they’ll tow your car too. (they even towed a residents vespa) $250 a pop and forest creek has to be getting a kickback. residents and guests are now parking in the street to avoid getting towed. if you try to fight it, the tow company and forest creek sends you in circles. they send you to a customer service line where you can leave a voicemail (don’t hold your breath waiting for a follow up, it’s a dead end) on top of this, some of the residents are noisy drunks who spend hours yelling and blasting music until the cops get called. when brought up to management, they direct you back to the hotline. it’s not the worst apartment i’ve lived in, but by far the worst management i’ve ever experienced. they never have “any authority” and hide behind SMI to treat residents like trash. it feels a scam in a place that is already dealing with predatory rent practices, austin residents don’t need to be treated as less than human for not being part of the mega wealthy that is pricing us out of our homes.

What an awesome experience being welcome by someone from your hometown. Very appreciative of Jeanetta for showing us our future community. The turtles even welcome us such a treat to visit a property with a true nature aspect.

I moved here in August 2017 because a good buddy of mine lives here and likes it. I absolutely love it here. It feels incredibly homey compared to a lot of other apartments in Austin, there are nice grounds to walk around, a cute little stream, two pools, a gym, grills, picnic tables, and a tennis court. I love hiking in the Blunn Creek nature preserve that's practically across the street. GREAT place to be active. They still have yet to put in a bike rack even though some of us have been asking for a long time. Other than that though I LOVE this community.
