So far, living here has been great! The office staff is so nice, and they let us know we'll in advance when repairs will be happening. My previous apartment gave us maybe 48 hours notice for everything, which made it difficult with my work schedule if I had to be home. They're also making improvements often. Currently they're working on installing a parcel locker. Huge shout-out to the maintenance team. I just put in a work order for the first time yesterday (AC stopped working and the ceiling fan needed fixed). Both issues were resolved within an hour of the office opening. I'm able to text with maintenance, which is really convenient. They were also willing to work with me on when maintenance could come. I did have someone come back out today to look at two of our windows. I didn't expect them to be here as soon as their operating hours started, so I wasn't able to get to the door immediately. They tried to contact me, which is more than I've had other complexes do. Frank was great, looked at both issues, and had a resolution for me within 20 minutes, maybe less.

I just want to take a moment to say I really appreciate the management team here. Israel has been especially helpful and patient anytime I’ve needed assistance. He always handles things professionally and respectfully, and that kind of consistency really stands out. I’m very thankful for the effort he puts in. I also want to recognize Romecca for her professionalism and kindness. It’s clear she cares about keeping things running smoothly and making sure residents are treated with respect. It truly makes a difference living somewhere with a management team that communicates well and treats people with understanding. I appreciate everything they do.

I recently relocated to Ellwood at Lake Travis, and I truly want to thank the maintenance team for all they do. They consistently go above and beyond to make sure my apartment stays in great working condition. A special thank-you to Frank for always going the extra mile and making sure everything gets done right. I really appreciate the care and effort from the whole team.

Believe the reviews. This place is BAD. In my 15+ years of renting in Austin this place is hands-down the worst apartment complex I’ve ever lived in, and absolutely not worth the inflated price tag. The buildings are 20–25 years old and it shows—maintenance is slow, shoddy, and often just paints over issues instead of fixing them. In my two units here (a one-bedroom and later a two-bedroom with a yard), I dealt with constant threat-laden emails about lease violations, fees that mysteriously increased, and an office that never answers the phone. The assistant manager, Israel, deserves specific mention: he is consistently rude, condescending, and acts like a caricature of power-tripping management. Almost every other negative review mentions him, and for good reason. The maintenance failures were not just inconvenient—they were dangerous in my opinion. In my master bathroom, a black spot on the ceiling was “fixed” by painting over it. As the summer hit, condensation and water damage started dripping through, and I spent months catching water in buckets. They claimed it was fixed repeatedly, only for it to fail over and over until, after a two-week trip, we returned to find the spot where the spot was had fully collapsed. On top of that, the office mishandled a roommate removal so badly that we were forced to start legal proceedings against our former roommate under the assumption they were refusing the remove themselves, only to discover during the legal process that the office had the signed/approved the removal paperwork the whole time and never told us despite me asking constantly in person, costing us money for nothing. When confronted, Israel’s response was essentially “you should have emailed me.” This place is mismanaged, hostile, and negligent. I wouldn’t recommend living here to my worst enemy. Zero stars if I could. There is far more I could say but I don’t want to leave you with an essay. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
