Overall I like living here. I like my apartment and people are generally nice and friendly. I’ve had to put in plenty of work orders, but they get taken care of quickly. Maintenance is friendly and effective in my experience, and I appreciate them. The building is more solid than others I’ve lived in and I rarely hear my neighbors. I like living in the Triangle overall. ISSUES: Front-desk/management staff are friendly but hard to get a hold of. When I’ve inquired about things over the phone or via email, I’ve had to follow up repeatedly with no results. I’ve often had to go in person to get things done, and even then sometimes have to come back again. It’s confusing that there doesn’t seem to be a reliable system for keeping track of requests or follow-ups. Elevators should be serviced without residents having to report problems. There will be noise or movement issues, missing buttons, etc., and nothing gets addressed for weeks. Then residents are asked to report issues that are clearly visible when the elevators are used daily by staff. There are frequent issues receiving packages. The lockers don’t always work, drivers don’t always use them correctly, and there’s nowhere good for packages when someone can’t access the mailroom. They often end up in the garage and sometimes get stolen. Management also doesn’t have access to many of the property cameras, so there’s little they can do when things disappear. Sometimes WiFi outages cause all packages to be piled in the office, meaning you can only pick them up during office hours and have to search for yours. I’ve personally had at least three packages disappear within a couple months. Dog poop is a constant issue. Many owners don’t pick up after their dogs, so you’re likely to end up with it on your shoes. The dog park also smells extremely bad from urine, to the point that I don’t bring my dog in because we’d need an immediate bath afterward. When I moved in, the wood floors were disgusting. I had to scrub them on my hands and knees for hours before I felt comfortable walking barefoot. There are also safety concerns with the stairwells. People get inside when doors are propped open or not functioning properly. There have been incidents involving people doing drugs in the stairwells and even a sexual assault situation that didn’t lead to any meaningful changes. There are still people accessing and hanging out inside. A previous tenant described someone getting inside and pretending to be an employee conducting room checks. At the same time, law enforcement couldn’t access the building because entry requires a fob or code. So the danger was inside while help was stuck outside. The courtesy officer can also be difficult to reach and has reportedly been unprofessional with residents. Using cameras to address doors being propped open would be a good place to start with fixing this issue. I’d also love to see exterior door functionality (safety) prioritized over decor updates. Employees sometimes park in the limited visitor parking instead of the nearby public parking, forcing guests to park in the public garage or on the street. This is inconvenient and can raise safety concerns for overnight guests or difficulty for people carrying items from their car. Many residents have also reported being charged multiple times for a single fee or being charged for things they shouldn’t be at all. All that said, I’m highlighting these issues for transparency and in the hope that they improve. Despite these problems, I’m generally content living here and enjoy my apartment.

I’ve lived at Echo for 2 years and it’s been a decent experience. The gym is well-equipped, and I've enjoyed amenities like free coffee and EV charging. But construction and renovations have also disrupted some of these perks. The main drawbacks are an overly sensitive fire alarm system and only two elevators for a building of this size, which can mean longer wait times. Update: I've become disappointed with some aspects of Kairoi since they took over management of the building. The staff is approachable and trying, but the company has made some questionable billing mistakes, and they've added a number of a junk fees to new leases, causing me to lose a lot of respect for them as a company.

I rented an apartment at Echo Apartments in January. I love the location, the apartment, and the amenities. The apartment is great, well maintained, clean, and very comfortable. I love the local stores and restaurants. The building staff are very friendly and helpful. I recommend Echo apartments as a great place to live.

I have lived here for about three years and I've been very happy overall. What has been the most consistent though is the maintenance here. Even with management and employee changes, they're consistently rockstars. Today Miguel went absolutely above and beyond when I had a nail in my tire. He offered to put my spare on for me. Hero status.

I’ve been living here for over a year now, and overall it has been a great experience. The apartment is modern, spacious, and well maintained. The amenities are excellent. The gym and clubhouse are very clean, there is plenty of parking, and the trash valet service is convenient and always on time. Maintenance is one of the best parts of living here. Any request I’ve raised has been addressed very quickly, usually by the very next day, and the team is professional and responsible. There were a few issues with fire alarms in the past, but the management handled the situation responsibly. During a power outage, they even arranged food for residents, which really showed that they care about the community. The neighborhood is safe, quiet, and pleasant, making it a comfortable place to live. Overall, I’ve had a positive experience and would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a modern place with responsive management and great amenities.
