Cottages At Well Branch

Moved here since I was in between school district and the availability. I toured an apartment. The apartment I inquired about Nicole stated was NOT ready for viewing yet she has pics of how the apartment would look and have another available for viewing within a couple of days. Sure, came back viewed it. I asked her making sure that my apartment in 2 months would be as the pics and the apartment 2/2 I toured, she stated yes. Okay. She wanted me to sign asap, (new to me) Normally wait until unit is ready to view. Anyway day of move half the carpet is pulled up, towel rack broken, the drawers were ragged and pulled out without stopping, the master bedroom bathroom stopped up. Hair painted over. I look this over. Okay, so of course I am going to vacuum the carpet. IT TOOK ME 2 WEEKS TO NOT HAVE HAIR IN MY VACCUUM, MEANING THE CARPET WAS NOT REPLACED DISGUSTING!!! Oh mind you when I moved in I emailed her about the apartment not having what she stated my apartment would be equipped with SHE STATED THEY DID NOT HAVE THE TIME. there has to be a weak spot in the hallway the floorboard sinks in. ALSO MY FRONT DOOR KNOB CAME OFF HAD TO WAIT UNTIL MORNING FOR IT TO BE REPLACED multiple spiders I think brown or something seen one with body size of quarter and tons of baby spiders, when it rained pretty hard one night in the kitchen there were tiny termites hitting me, on the walls ( I took pics) uploaded and waited for pest to contact, i believe 2 days later maintenance comes I stated I didn't hear back from you i deleted the pics by then but they were uploaded through the portal. etc. Nothing was resolved anyways the place will eat up the AC good luck with that. MOLD MOLD MOLD! the master bedroom after all settled etc still had a VERY odd smell. Got a purifier. Eventually, my son began coughing for 1 month straight, then nose bleeds, and shortness of breath and throwing up!!! Consistently!! Mind you my son has yet to even catch flu/cold and never had any health problems. I do a kit for mold and within 1 day big black mold spot showed up!! UPLOADED!! I got my child out of there, within 1 week 2 weeks all the symptoms were gone. I had enough. old/ROTTED wood fixtures, paint covered problems. Along with weed smell seeping through the floor boards. Bias complaints. Got a complaint about noise, 1. it is during the day and if it is DEAD SILIENT i can even hear the neighbors watching sprots, playing music, coughing, blenders. Yet did I complain no. Wasn't even evening. I should've known better not taking Nicole Garza word. Silly me. Make sure to tour YOUR actual apartment before moving. Oh and she doesn't respond to email with this subject been brought up. Fake response below.

If I hadn’t decided to make the move to a house with my future husband, I would have stayed in the unit I had at this property for years & years. I could go on about how great my experience was at this place. There are so many great layouts, and so many great attributes that make this property unique from the majority of apartments in Austin. I truly love this complex! It’s so quiet, cozy & a lot of the units have really nice views. The maintenance is always very prompt & on point. They truly go above and beyond to take care of their tenants. 10/10 - the BEST management, maintenance team, and all over complex in the area. I’m sad to go, but am happy for my new beginnings, and am ecstatic for the tenant that has my unit next. I know they are going to be thrilled with choosing Cottages as their home!!
