I toured Citizen House MLK recently, and my experience was great! Brooke was amazing, friendly, patient, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire visit. She took the time to answer all my questions and made the process easy and enjoyable. Even though I wasn’t able to move in, I really appreciated the professionalism and kindness.

I had an amazing time at The Citizen House on MLK. Austin was so amazing and gave us a jaw dropping experience that we weren’t willing to go looking anywhere else. This apartment complex is so nice and modern, clean, and Austin made us want to move in the day of. I’m excited to move in and start my life here and so grateful to have had such amazing help and guidance throughout the whole process!

I had a great experience touring apartments with April! She was professional, friendly, and really took the time to show me around and answer all my questions. The apartment she showed me was awesome — clean, spacious, and exactly what I was looking for. April made the whole process smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend working with her!

To start off this is not a bad place to live in and competitive rent for the time that I actually moved in last year in 2024. Big props to Serenity who helped me with my tour and was a big reason of me signing this lease. However, after she left, the front desk staff was the rudest people I have ever dealt with. Brooke on multiple occasions dismissed my concerns. My washer and dryer wasn’t working for 4 weeks despite lots of work orders and me going in person to speak with the office. She told me “that really sucks you can use a laundromat” which is not a solution for a resident that pays a lot of money to live in an advertised “luxury experience”. I was told a part of the washer was on back order, again, that’s not an excuse to not replace my washer. And even if I needed to use the laundromat I understand, but when I asked if they would be able to help pay for that, I was told “we can see what we can do for you when you go use it” Another time at the end of my lease I went to go confirm if I needed to sign anything else before moving out or just dropping off keys was enough. Brooke was once again extremely aggressive and rude towards me for no reason and said “well did you sign this paper?” And then just ignored me WHILE there was another new person there signing a new lease. I guess they did not care to be nice in front of people. All of these incidents happened in front of a friend or my boyfriend and both of them were confused why the front desk staff was being so mean, and I truly do not know. So while it’s a decent space to live in, good luck if you ever need anything fixed because they’re just gonna be mean to you and make you feel bad about asking to fix something that you pay a lot of money for.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve really enjoyed living here. The apartments are brand new with very nice quality finishes, and the location couldn’t be more convenient. It’s right off the expressway, close to the airport and MetCenter, so commuting is quick and easy with no traffic. Getting to downtown takes less than 15 minutes when the roads are clear. Plus, having a QuikTrip nearby is a great bonus. Overall, a great spot if you’re looking for modern living with excellent accessibility.
