Camden Gaines Ranch Apartments

Mackenzie at Camden Gaines gave us a stellar tour today! I'm an apartment locator - Camden Gaines doesn't even pay us but Mackenzie was so amazing I hope my client signs there!

I moved to Camden Gaines Ranch Apartments in Jan / Feb 2026 from overseas. It has been a big transition to say the least. I was (anxiously) moving with 2 cats flying in international cargo 15 hours. I needed to secure a place we could step into without seeing it in person, which felt a tiny bit risky. Also, I wanted to ensure I was moving to the same level of quality that I am accustomed to, so I would feel at home as well! From the very beginning of working with this property, MacKenzie Ventura in the office at this property has looked after me and my pets with a great amount of kindness and understanding for the situation. She took the time to walk me through the various apartments over video chat, and patiently answered my long list of questions. She was thorough and very friendly. Working with MacKenzie went a very long way towards helping me feel confident and that I had found a great home. To date, all of the staff at CGR have been wonderful and kind. Some of them even live on the property. I think this adds to a community like spirit here. The apartment was near perfect when I moved in. The few little things needing repair that I did find were fixed THE SAME DAY that I logged the ticket. This has been a consistent experience. I later logged another ticket for the electrical lights and outlets being on the same circuit, and again, they came the same day. The maintenance staff are super kind and looked after my tickets efficiently while communicating clearly how / when / what would happen. I feel like I am looked after here and I dont have the maintenance to worry about that I would in a single rented home. There are so many nice residents, and it really is a great place to own a pet. The property has Barton Creek trail access and pretty good access to the downtown area as well via close on ramps to MoPac, while being far enough you can enjoy the calm of nature. Amazing! If you are interested in leasing here I’d go speak to Katie. She signed me up and has now handled my renewal. On both occasions she was the only person I spoke to that listened and worked with me, no pressure just super helpful with leasing and any other times I’ve reached out. Overall this is a good community, not much noise and a great location to feel out of the city. Only downsides are some bug issues you might have to deal with depending on where you apartment is

I recently just moved out after living here for 2 years and will miss it terribly. It’s such a nice tucked away quiet community that has easy access to mopac and the greenbelt making it easy to get anywhere and relax. I did have my car broken into around the holidays last year but I feel like that’s something that’s hard to avoid. They have security every night come through and do perimeter and access point checks while also having the gate to help deter non residents. When my car was broken into they gave me a garage until my window was fixed free of charge. The staff is great, special shoutout to Katie and the maintenance staff for all their help. The maintenance crew is super fast and responsive. It’s a very active community as well with a lot of neighbors out walking their dogs and everyone is super friendly! Only downside is the price. I wish Camden worked a little more with residents on pricing but I understand that’s kind of how they operate. Also the forced use of spectrum is annoying. BUT if you can swing it I def think it’s worth it to be tucked away in a sleepy little hamlet in the woods
