Bridge at River place was a 3.5 stay. I was very comfortable with the staff they were always accommodating and accessible. Which I loved and appreciated. The apartment was also very upkept and clean and just a beautiful place to live in! I rarely dealt with any issues. Though after my first month of living there all four of my tires were stolen aswell as someone else on the property. It was brought to the offices attention and All they could do was have the courtesy officer start earlier in the morning. Which I could get they can’t do much, but then I found out this had happened six months before I moved in (Dec 2025) and no precautions were taken then. Ever since my tires got stolen the thieve have come back repeatedly, so I finally had to move out early unfortunately even though I loved the apartment. I couldn’t take another price loss like that. Overall your pick over mine🙂

UPDATE 5/17/26: The complex is under new management now by AMP (Apartment Management Professionals) and is now called Bridge at River Place. I’m sad to say this management so far has been worse than Cortland in ways. Emails now often take weeks to be responded to, even after multiple follow ups - and the responses I’ve gotten have been typically unhelpful or non-answers. The transition happened months ago and there was no formal introduction made, just a sudden letter on our doors on a late Friday evening telling us they were taking over the following Monday. As of May I still have no idea who my best points of contact are, and we have not been notified which old staff members stayed or left. Maintenance requests are being pushed back and not circled back to - I’ve had a dishwasher falling out of its place and flooring lifting for months and there’s been l little to no effort to make sure they’re taken care of. So far they seem to rely on tenants to follow up with them to make sure things are done, not the other way around. (Which is crazy since I’m the one paying them lol) We are currently at 6 websites and apps we have to use to access/pay bills, trash services, gates, and lockers. Hoping things turn around as time goes on, but so far it’s not looking promising :/ —————————————————————— We’ve been living here less than a year, and I feel like I am constantly having to communicate with management to resolve issues. First it was our bathtub sinking into the ground. The repair company fixing the wrong tub, came back and did the correct tub but incorrectly, and then having to have it all done again and not seeing any significant reimbursement for our roughly $1,000 of expenses from having to find overnight accommodations multiple times. Cortland pressured the tub company to give us a $100 gift card and Cortland gave us $100 in rent credit but they basically told us to figure out the rest of the lost funds for something outside of our control. Then there was a two month period of the trash not being picked up regularly and the management expected us to keep track of the missed days on their behalf and report to them. No reimbursement for probably half a month of missed service has ever been given despite asking. We’ve also been reporting an upstairs neighbor for over 6 months that is constantly stomping, plays with a very large dog upstairs that sounds like thunder, slams everything they touch, and creates sporadic sounds as if they’re dropping book shelves on the ground throughout the day. This causes us to lose sleep, and quiet enjoyment of our apartment - including our poor pets that think the world is crashing around them every time our ceiling and walls shake and they hear a BOOM. Management has made visits to their unit and then blames it on “flooring issues” which even if this were true, wouldn’t be fixed anyways. We pay $2,000 a month to be constantly disturbed, and after dozens of emails, phone calls, visits etc they are not taking any real action to mitigate the disturbances. All of this just scratches the surface. Avoid renting here if you don’t want to constantly babysit the management to get simple things you pay for done and live in peace.

Moving in to my new apartment at Bridge at River Place was a breeze! Linda made the entire process easy and simple. Went above and beyond to ensure I found the apartment I wanted. Thanks Linda!

Neighbors in the building across from us at building 15 leave their dogs out every night around 10PM until midnight. The dogs aren’t really the problem it’s the people who own them. Their dogs barking echoing around the complex and everything that moves is not so much a problem but at night it can be a bit much. I am sure a lot of the residents can vouch for this. You hear the white dog crying like it’s dying or begging the owner to let them inside the house is so sad. These dogs pee off the balcony during the day which makes me believe they do not go outside regularly, are left on the balcony for hours, and they are big dogs. Poor creatures don’t deserve that. I’m shocked that their neighbors haven’t said anything about them or maybe they have and new management Bridge at Riverplace isn’t doing anything about it. I have emailed you guys 4 times about this and received nothing. I wonder if anyone else has complained about these dogs and nothing is happening. I don’t want to disclose my name due to the fact that people talk and I don’t want my name to be just floating around in the office. I’ve heard it happen to a resident here and I will not have that happen to me. Bless her heart. If you want me to delete this or prevent other residents to 1 star review you guys then I suggest you you respond to my emails and do something about it. I don’t expect any evictions notices I just expect a warning. I already put a note on their door. Whether it flew away or got thrown away the issue has not been resolved. I tried emailing you to do this quietly and contacting you through the “contact me section” but it’s been crickets.

Loved living here. Only reason we left was to buy a house up north. The community is perfect. Met a lot of lifelong friends at the back pool during our makeshift volleyball games. This place is close to everything, great location! I would definitely move back or refer anyone to live here. Also, the office staff are super attentive and friendly.
