Avana SoCo

I have had an exceptional experience at this apartment community. The management and leasing team are attentive, professional, and extremely responsive. Maintenance requests are completed promptly and correctly. The amenities are well-maintained, parking is convenient, and the overall property is kept very clean. It has been a comfortable and positive living environment and I would absolutely recommend it to others.

The apartments are awesome, well maintained, comfortable, and feel like home. The staff is friendly, professional, and always helpful. The maintenance team is especially great. quick to respond, knowledgeable, and they actually fix things right the first time. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to live and I highly recommend it.

Resident parking is not under any control! Permanently abandoned parked cars for months and perhaps years. Multitude of cars without resident parking stickers all over because the leasing office personnel does nothing! Being able to get a spot after 5pm is out of the question for actual residents. What is the point of issuing stickers if you aren’t going to enforce anything? Do better Avana SoCo and Greystar

Pros: We really enjoyed the unit! Cons: - Issues with maintenance response time: it took Avana over 4 months, and 3 maintenance requests to respond to an urgent matter with our refrigerator. Our fridge and freezer completely spoiled all of our food. When I requested reimbursement for lost items, I received one email stating they would look into it. However, they did not respond, and almost 6 months later, I still have not received reimbursement for all of the food that was spoiled due to their lack of timeliness in responding to maintenance requests. - We were charged MONTHLY for renters' insurance through the complex when we had private insurance on file with them. When I brought this to their attention, it was not resolved. - It is filthy around the complex, and many residents will leave their open trash in your valet bins or furniture that they don't want outside the units in the stairwell. - I went to turn in my keys three days early due to us moving far from this location, and they claimed that they would charge me for this service?? Not to mention that the front office people had no idea how much that charge would be.

I have lived here for several years and it's such a hidden gem in Austin. Reasonable prices, unique and beautiful apartments, and excellent amenities including 2 pools. Maintenance here is so fast and helpful. They stay on top of their units and are usually there within the same day of a maintenance request. Our community manager, Brittany, is a newer addition to the staff and she came in with a gusto that got a lot of long standing issues accomplished - including fixing the hot tub and keeping on top of the pools (an issue that persisted previously) I love living here and the staff make it that much better
