There was this leak of some sort in the bathroom and it would drip on my head while I was using the restroom. They kept trying to fix it. It was really hard to get them to fix it. But after 4 months they finally did it lol! I am appreciative of that, but they never allowed me to get out of my lease and I had to endure it for several months.

The apartment and staff are nice but AMLI has not been able to figure out the issues with their FOB entry. I've been locked out of amenities I pay for multiple times and even locked out of access points to get to my apartment. There is no permanent solution but rather just going out of your way to physically go and reset your fob with the staff during business hours. The staff is great and it is not their fault but rather AMLIs poor and cheap decisions for their entry way technology while charging $2500+ rental prices

Overall had a very positive experience living here. There were a few issues but most of them were taken care of quickly. The units are very nice and spacious in a great part of Austin. Very walkable part of the city which is a huge pro to living here. I had a AC unit problem basically my whole time living here but it was taken care of each time very quickly. A maintenance vendor did leave my bathroom very messy and it took a couple days for management to respond but ultimately got that issue cleaned and taken care of. They also do monthly events which are very well thought out. Overall living here has been a great experience.

I lived here with my roommate for 12 months and moved out about a month ago. We just received our move-out statement, totaling approximately $600. This was a huge surprise because we took excellent care of the apartment. We didn't have pets, never wore our shoes on carpeted areas, and patched / sanded all holes in the wall prior to moving out. Management claimed the carpet "had" to be replaced and that the entire apartment "had" to be repainted. The carpet was in the same condition as when we moved in, and nothing was mounted on the walls. I requested photos of the alleged damage, and management provided pictures of perfect looking carpet (I've attached a picture of both rooms for reference... and a good laugh). When I pointed out that the carpet clearly showed no damage, AMLI claimed they replaced it based on their flooring vendor's recommendation (how convenient), and maintained that the charges were justified. I escalated the issue because of how predatory this is, but AMLI management failed to provide a useful or reasonable response. Daiquiri (Community Manager) eventually replied after several days with an entirely unhelpful response, simply restating that the charges stood because of alleged wear and tear. Bottom line: poor tenant experience, unhelpful management, and predatory / unjustified charges. I strongly advise potential renters to look elsewhere. I certainly won’t be choosing AMLI again.

Horrible management and staff. If you decide to live here, make sure you’re a very heavy sleeper because management refuses to do anything about excessive noise levels at all hours of the night, making this apartment seems like an overpriced dorm room. Additionally, staff is reluctant to address problems such as not being able to access the gated parking garage and instead leaves it to residents to address these issues themselves. On top of that, staff is routinely rude and condescending to residents when the most basic requests are asked of them. After being forced to book hotels on several occasions, I ultimately had to talk to the district manager before being permitted to leave this place so that I could get any amount of rest at night. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Avoid AMLI Eastside at all costs. There are plenty of better options in this neighborhood. Edit: As you can see from management’s response, they’ve attempted to paint their former residents in a bad light in order to absolve themselves from any amount of blame. In my experience dealing with them, this is unsurprising and is standard operating procedure at this property. Pictured is my former balcony after management placed a Port-o-potty and dumpster placed directly under it in the July heat following a complaint that I made regarding noise levels.
