I was honored to be selected as Resident of the Month by Abbey Road Apartments. They surprised me by sending treats to my workplace, which was both thoughtful and unexpected. The day before, we also enjoyed a Mardi Gras gathering where Stephanie prepared gumbo and cake, and I had the opportunity to spend time with fellow residents. As I’ve said before, this is truly the best apartment community to live in.

I am a current resident and highly don’t recommend moving here. I lived here for more than 4 years now. The property management and maintenance people are bunch of bullies. It’s a good Neighborhood but never rent at abbey Road Apartments. It isn’t clean. Roaches 🪳 everywhere no matter how much you deep clean the apartments. The head maintenance guy did bully me twice and I only had to deal with him twice and when you tell the property management they disregard you. Maintenance is never on time and when it is on time they do a terrible job. I have a black mold, which was never removed properly even though I submitted a request and It was allegedly worked on. I am moving out of here soon and it is the best decision I made. This is the repose to your response much of what was stated in your response is misleading or simply not true. Since you chose to publicly misrepresent the situation, I will clarify the facts. First, regarding the lockout incident: I was locked out of my apartment, and the locksmith quoted me $190 to open the door. I have a spare key that was sitting right inside on my table, and I made that clear to your maintenance staff. I told him directly, “I have a spare key right there. I just need to grab it.” I also expressed a legitimate concern that my stove might have been left on, which is a real risk and something that has happened before. That was not a fabricated emergency that was me trying to prevent a potential fire. Your maintenance employee refused to help me retrieve my own key and said the only thing he would do was “check the stove.” When he opened the door, I reached in to grab my key, and he suddenly began yelling at me. At no point did I “force my way in,” “threaten” anyone, or “falsify” anything. What actually happened is that I refused to be homeless for a day and refused to pay $190 when my own key was sitting in plain view. For the record to who is reading this and playing to rent at abbey road apartments, I have lived here over four years, always paid rent on time, and never caused issues. I do not have family in town and had nowhere else to stay that night. My neighbors the people who actually live here and see what happens fully understood and sympathized with my situation. Many residents have shared similar concerns about the behavior of maintenance and management. As for cleanliness and repairs I reported issues, including roaches and black mold, which were not handled properly despite repeated requests. Telling residents that “no other reports exist” doesn’t erase the fact that the problems were real and ongoing. Please don’t pretend this is about “safety” or “community standards.” If you want to act like a community, treat residents like human beings, not like inconveniences or sources of revenue. Don’t hide behind policy when someone is in a reasonable, urgent situation. Don’t claim to be a “welcoming community” while acting like a purely selfish business.

I just recently moved to Abbey road apartments. Kurt made the process easy and was super friendly. My apartment was really nice and clean. new paint and everything was in working order. Absolutely love this location. It's super close to everything being off of Burnet road. I take the Metro bus and also take Lyft. I can also walk to get food and coffee. The apartment was also wired for Google fiber internet which is super fast! I called and they had it installed the same day. So far my overall experience was great. I would recommend. Thanks again, Kurt

I’ve been here a little over six months and I absolutely love these apartments. The front office staff is always very nice and helpful. The maintenance staff is quick and does a good job. The groups are kept up and well maintained, making the apartment feel good to come home to. Brooke made my moving process so stress free. She is always on top of any billing errors and she genuinely cares about the tenants. Charles, maintenance, is great with animals and has done an excellent job repairing anything I’ve had issues with. The unit itself is great. The building is older as it was built in the 60s but it doesn’t feel like it. The finishings are great. There are a little strange quirks about the unit but that’s what I love about it. I’m currently in 1b/1b and it’s SO SPACIOUS. I love this apartment and feel lucky to live here. My neighbors are all very nice and friendly and it makes me feel welcomed. I’ve had one issue with noise but they’ve since moved out and Have not had any issues since. The location is also the best part. It is walking distance to so many great restaurants and a 4 minute drive to Walmart (though I’m not a fan of that Walmart and drive 10 min down burnet to HEB) and luckily I work by the domain and it takes me all of 8 minutes to drive to work or from work during rush hour.
