This is a wonderful place to live! The office staff is professional and always willing to help, and maintenance responds promptly to any requests. Jonnie, the assistant manager, was especially helpful and took the time to answer all of my rent-related questions. The grounds are well kept, and the apartments are spacious and comfortable. I truly enjoy living here and appreciate how well the property is managed.

Everyday I woke up in this apartment I cursed myself for choosing to live here. Please do not repeat my mistake of living at the Ventura. It was terrible. First reason would be the area is absolute trash. You will sit in traffic a lot just to get to your apartment because of AT&T stadium that is a mere 5 minutes away. But don’t let that fool you, there is a lot of homeless in the area. Second reason is this apartment is infested with cockroaches. I have reached out to maintenance about this several times and nothing ever happened. Speaking of maintenance. The management of maintenance is horrible. Only about two maintenance people for the whole building. In the beginning of my apartment stay, my shower made a really loud buzzing noise. Insanely loud. Reached out to maintenance, nothing was done. Had to fix it myself. The toilet was also not working several times. Had to fix it myself with my own money, so you are welcome for whoever gets that apartment next. My ac was also out multiple times and I had to go to hotels because it was too hot. There is no overhead lights in some of the apartments. They showed me an apartment with lights, and on moving day, surprise!! You only have a light in the kitchen, closet, and bathroom. The 0 lack of urgency and no respect for personal time this apartment shows is unbearable. The outside of the apartments is very dirty and filled with trash. Please be wiser than me and do not move here. It is way too expensive for the lack of quality that you are getting.

I like my apartment, the view is nice and rent is reasonable, but I guess you get what you pay for. Main pool by the leasing office was closed all year except for the month of October. Clothes care facility is always filthy and only a few machines work and those are dirty because people don’t know how to clean up after themselves. I ended up buying my own washer and dryer..I’m also planning on starting a petition and get other tenants to sign it for reimbursement for the gas bill since we’re constantly running out of hot water. 5 days during Thanksgiving week and theee days so far now this week. I’m sorry but this is unacceptable.

If I could give zero stars I would they don’t even deserve a rating At this point the issues I’m having with this apartment and management i going to just have to take legal action against them even tho it should never reach that point but because this is below bad customer service more so just inhumane they just truly are money pirates as long as they get the money on the first your whole apartment roof could fall in and they will not fix anything they won’t return calls they won’t respond to maintenance request nothing this apartment is barely within living conditions for anyone and know that please do your full research before moving to a property because this by far has been my worst nightmare I have two children under the age of 4 and have to stay in hotels or with someone I trust because they left my unit looking like this since June 12th 2025 until currently remind you the maintenance caused this damage to my unit by trying to find the issue and have yet to fix or communicate any solutions with me I also have black mold growing on my window seal they won’t fix that issue either this is so wrong

I just moved out as I decided not to renew my lease and here is why: First when I moved in, I spent hours cleaning a dirty apt and that was the 1st thing that made me feel a way because they did absolutely nothing to rectify that situation. I left the apt cleaner than what I got it. Second, One of the most important things to me when I choose where I'm going to live is bug/ infestation , safety and parking. I will say when it came to these things I didnt have very many issues. But if you have any maintenance issues please dont expect them to come for atleast a month. Jenn is nice and she tries her best but 1 person cant service an entire complex of issues. The pool hasn't been open in 2 summers, its always dirty, or closed because of permit issues. Dog poop Will Be around the property so be careful where you walk. And if you have a gym membership dont cancel it because the gym is so small only 2 people can comfortably be in there and the few machines left working aren't enough to meet physical goals. Chelsea is the new ASM. Shes actually a reasonable person but theres only so much she can do legally when it comes to certain issues. Overall my time here wasnt bad but I wouldnt recommend it. There is daily water shut offs and when you move out they will try to charge you for things that werre messed up before you moved in ( even with pics) unless you use words like "legal action ". Attached are photos of my apt when I moved out. Again, not a bad complex but for the price (slightly high and the few issues listed above)... just not worth it to me.
