DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS APARTMENT! YOU'LL REGRET IT. Absolutely dreadful living experience at South Campus Apartments! This place is a complete nightmare. The apartments are infested with thousands of cockroaches and they are literally everywhere. You leave your food for 10 seconds and there will be roaches in it! The building itself is old and poorly maintained. My ceiling leaks water every time it rains, and the wooden corridors are visibly rotting from sun and rain exposure. Maintenance is non-existent and utterly unhelpful. My refrigerator was broken for days, causing all my food to rot and go to waste. When I reported it, management refused to send someone to fix it, stating they would wait until 'more problems from more apartments pile up' before calling maintenance. This is completely unacceptable! Similarly, my electric burner in the kitchen was not working and they couldn't care less. To make matters worse, during extremely cold weather, when temperatures dropped to 24 degrees Fahrenheit, my heater was completely broken. When I reported this critical issue, management's response was to tell me they couldn't find the problem and suggested I buy my own $200 room heater! Beyond the physical issues, the 'included' internet barely functions; it's virtually impossible to connect, and the speed is close to zero, forcing tenants to pay for their own internet anyway. The laundry facilities are also a disaster. It's too small for the complex, with most machines broken. Many times, the machines take your money but don't even start. The manager is incredibly rude, unsupportive, and uncommunicative. He is always angry, dismissive, and doesn't listen to tenant concerns. He also struggles with English, making effective communication difficult. To top it all off, they constantly increase the rent upon lease renewal without addressing any of these severe and ongoing issues.

I talked to Gary and found him unprofessional. Never ever mentioned hidden fees until the day we signed the lease. But he claims he had informed my other roommate which he never did. Also, the day before we move in, he says he can refund the deposit if we don't like the policy. Sir, you just made us wait a month long and had made us store our belongings to a storage for 7 days because you guys couldn't make the apt ready by Jan 1st. How do you expect to find an apt ready to move in within a day? Money wasn't the issue but him never mentioning the hidden fees before we signed the lease is unethical. In future, if you have such policy, then mention it at the time of discussion or in your website.

This place is awesome for the student. I still live here. I started my lease in Aug. 2020. The manager is awesome. Some people complains about bugs but I don't think this place has bed bugs. Parking problem for the visitors is the issue. However if you let the manager know, he let you to park for 15 days. Overall nice place to stay.

Horrible Apartment! I moved in here 2 weeks ago. They hadn’t properly cleaned before handing out. I started to see bed bugs in my bedroom within 3/4 days of move in. I have got extreme bed bug bites around my hands, shoulders and legs. I called for pest control service and they will be coming after more than a week. I couldn’t wait that long and yesterday i took out my bed and mattress, cleaned it up, mop down the floor with bleach and sprayed the bug spray all around the floor and mattress and still today i found the bed bug. I was feeling itchy at 5 in the morning and found bed bug in my bed again and got some new bites from this fu***** blood sucking a** insect.

Stayed here for an year. Manager at the office was so helpful. But the owner, I didn’t find him co-operating. We wanted to extend our lease for a week because the new apartment we were moving wasn’t ready by the time. But they directly refused to do so even though they had done that for other apartment before. Luckily, I had a friend’s house nearby otherwise they would have made me a homeless guy. Moreover, during the time of staying we asked so many times for pest control service but only few times they would show up and without any effective treatment. If you are planning to stay in this apartment, sell your vehicle or you might be paying towing amount every single month. They towed two of my friends car because they couldn’t see the temporary parking permit in front of the vehicle even though it was there. Place is safer than I thought, walking distance to UTA. Rooms are really small. But the service by the manager was exceptional.
