Huntington Meadows Apartment Homes

We went to see a apartment in Huntington medow for a self-guided tour. After viewing a specific unit, we informed the management that we wanted to lease that exact apartment. However, they assigned us a different, significantly smaller unit instead. When we asked to see other options, every unit shown was smaller than the original one we toured. ​We paid around $300 non-refundable application fee based on the representation of the first apartment. Because the units offered do not match the size or layout of the one we were shown, we feel we were misled. We did not get the apartment we agreed upon, nor have we received a refund. They showed a 'demo' apartment and then provided a smaller one.

Don't move here, I don't recommend it. These are the worst apartments you'll find, in addition to the terrible service from the manager and her assistant. The apartments are in terribles condition. I lived in a two-bedroom apartment, then I moved to a one-bedroom, and they gave it to me completely dirty and in terrible condition, with a broken blind, broken closet wood, and hair and stains everywhere. On top of that, the flooring in my old apartment started peeling up. I notified the office that the floor was coming up, and even the maintenance guys said it was happening in many units because the flooring was made of very cheap materials. The manager's assistant told me not to worry about it, and now that I've moved to the new apartment, they want me to pay for the floor. They are just looking for ways to get more money out of you. It has been very difficult for me to deal with them. I just don’t recommend this apts at all.

Stephanie is an absolute standout! She treats every person with respect and genuine care, and it shows in the way she handles every step of the leasing process. She’s organized, professional, and so easy to talk to. I felt supported from the first tour to signing the lease. If you’re searching for an apartment and want top-tier customer service, make sure you ask for Stephanie. She’s truly amazing at her job!

Things at this apartment started off well! Nice presentation, decent apartments, and affordable. I moved in August of 2025. It is now November of 2025 and I see why these apartments are affordable. Very old apartments - they cover up old rusted parts of the home with pant, they don’t clean well before you move in, so many things broken/needing updates, ROACHES, GNATS, SPIDERS, MOSQUITOES everywhere they shouldn’t be - in the fridge they gave me, in the microwave they gave me, in the kitchen and bathrooms. They do well with getting someone here to “help” but things are completed for temporary fixes.

Just been here a month, but, I really like it. Location is great! Maintenance is quick. It's pretty quite, which is important to someone who works as much as I do. Grounds are well-kept. And the management team are nice, professional people. However, I tilt my crown to Ms. Stephanie! Such a meek spirited young lady. She was exceptional at selling me on the place, extremely helpful and patient, and very attentive to any calls or messages. Even their online ResidentPortal is very simple, yet, meets all your needs. If it wasn't for one gate being broken this whole time I'd give them 5 stars.
